Thanks Rob! She did say I could take the tires off as long as I had something to replace them with. lol

I just made a deal on the one I showed you in Spokane, WA. It just arrived at the Spokane rail yard so hopefully it won't take long to get to the dealer. They were super to deal with! No mark ups, no add ons and only a $200 Doc fee. It's a little farther than I'd like to go but they were so nice and no BS. I just need something to go smooth from here on out.

Let me know when you end up going to get it - we will be going up to see our daughter a bit west of there next month - if the time frames overlap, maybe we can meet somewhere.

First and foremost, the most important item, is that your OK. Nothing else matters...Money Pit can/will be replaced....you can't !!!
Obviously it's good to hear from you, but it's sad it's under these circumstances.
I think I speak for all here....we're glad to hear from you and glad your OK, and if you need to step away till you get all your ducks in a row, we'll understand.
Thanks Steve! There were several times I wanted to come back on but I just wasn't in a good mood or right frame of mind. Now there's a light at the end of the tunnel and while I'm still stressed and upset (this was a dragged out process) I really missed being here and all of you! ?

I'd love to Rob but I'm hoping to get out there the week of May 10th. We have our trip planned for June 2nd and I really need this truck and everything done ASAP. That was another added stresser because I was running out of time.

The bed is full of parts and I'm guessing the taillights are back there. I'm going there Monday to get all the rest of the stuff and told them I need the bed cleaned out. I'm NOT letting my damper go! So if I see the lights I may just throw them in the rental. I do have a list of all the deleted items and you can bet those are all coming with me.
Excellent! hope you can score some spare parts for future use, some spare tail lights would be great to have on hand.

The good thing is the body shop could care less what I do so I'm taking everything I find useful. There's so much stuff thrown back there they'll never realize the taillights are gone. I'm also taking the tilting headrests and engine cover too. ?

Glad you’re OK. All the rest is petty stuff. You’ll be in another Ranger soon enough…maybe even a 6G. Mount that damper on the wall!

Thanks Paul! That darn damper held the back of the truck together so it's going on the next one. lol I just put a deposit on a white Tremor and will hopefully get it in a few weeks.

Sorry to hear about money pit, Dave; glad you are OK. A similar thing happened to me last October...got clipped by a guy on a bike; RH quarter panel, bumper, tailpipe, some wiring harnesses, a taillight, paint and buff...$6k and six weeks with the truck looking like ghetto, then a week and a half in the body shop, mostly waiting for parts. Got it back now and all is well.

Well Dave I'm glad you're all right. About the engine cover... I guess the engine cover is going to be installed on the new truck right? Lol! ?
I have read that a white vehicle gets better gas mileage due to the A/C not kicking on as much so there's that! May a little cooler to jump into after shopping.
I know I would miss that Saber color. When I got a loaner once, it was Saber and looked nice.
Take care, Dave - and get a new dash cam asap! Robert

Thanks Michel! It doesn't take much today to rack up the price on vehicles when they're damaged. There's no way I'd want this back with all this damage. That was another huge deciding factor when the adjuster was doing his appraisal was the time waiting for parts. I'm so glad he was good and had all these things in mind.

Thanks Robert! I thought about hanging the engine cover on the wall because it's a classic but it'll go on the new one. ? Next dash cam will get the longest extended warranty available with this heat out here.

Glad to learn the truck was considered totaled, that would have been my wish also.
