Update:

Bought the Factory LED Headlights and Fogs from Ford OEM Parts Direct $2700, got the headlights installed, Fogs are on backorder so they will be installed later.
It took about 5 hours to get them swapped over, HUGE difference over the Halo's.
If you decide to swap yours over as well, just take your time doing it and watch the install video located on this forum. It's really a PITA but worth it. I just wish Ford did not delete them in the first place.
Plus: look in the Forscan WIKI about the changes that have to be made to make them work properly
I posted my install notes in there. as the ForScan changes posted on here are conflicting and not exactly correct as I found
Congrats to you, but you must have really disliked the halogens to invest $2700 in the upgrade. Just wow!

Wait a minute.

I thought these were being deleted for parts availability?
That is my understanding, but you can still find them as of now. I did NOT receive anything from Ford explaining the reason-Just my Truck is Built and here is your window sticker- It's listed on that.
I decided to make the truck as ordered before the Headlights fall into the same category as the engine appearance covers - Discontinued and Not Obtainable (unless you pay double what the original cost was) on Ebay
As far as mine, I found them at different price points, the dealer I ordered from, and Benny with Leviton Ford listed them at around $1100 each but most Ford parts suppliers have them at $1700 each

Yeah dude, good on you for getting what you want and deserve.

I just don't understand how Ford can say they've been deleted for parts availability when they're not only available, but Ford is putting them on dealership allotments.

Sketchy as hell to me but par for the course the way Ford and others are building/selling vehicles right now.

I wanted to make the truck (As Ordered), drove with the Halo's for a while and noted that with oncoming traffic the Halo's seamed to get washed out somewhat, I pondered on the expensive investment, but I t still would have cost me more to walk away from the ordered truck and buy dealer stock (with the LED's) I checked with a couple dealers around me, and they ALL had the Rangers (5 to 10 K) over MSRP.
I can say this for sure, the LED's make a HUGE difference in nighttime driving

Does anyone know if this is still an issue for the 2023? I just ordered a Lariat in large part because of the headlights.

Unfortunately, it's a coin toss

For the 22's built after May 2022 - was the point it became a 50/50 shot of getting the LED's or not, it appears that most but not all orders the LED's were deleted. Most dealer orders appeared to keep them but customer retail orders it was a crap shoot.
So, I think it depends on pick of the draw, which ones get it which ones don't.
In the opening of the 23 Ranger order banks - you got a pop-up message, stating that if you selected halogen Ford would give you a 500 credit, I see that is now gone, however it is still listed in the Exterior (Option) section, when I ordered mine, I don't think I had an option to select halogen, LED was the only option (Included)

The LED Head/Fog was a big part in my decision on the Lariat as well, no communication from Ford whatsoever, except congratulations your truck is built here is a copy of your window sticker. It showed up there (Halogen - Headlamp/Foglamp) -500 credit.
I decided to swap my Halo's over to the as ordered LED myself, HUGE Difference, in nighttime driving.
Did you notice the popup when you ordered about supply constraints, that is their out, so it's going to be a coin toss. The LED assemblies are available as I found them it's just an expensive swap over. The Halo's are packed nicely in a box now, however the Fog's are back ordered and should be here soon.

Don't get me wrong. The LED fogs are a huge upgrade over the halogens.

But if I were paying myself for them I'd jump straight to the Diode Dynamics or Baja Designs pocket fogs for our trucks.

I have the Baja Designs Squadron Pros in my factory fog location. Tbey were a huge step up over the factory fogs. And while I don't know how much Ford charges for the factory LEDs alone, I'd imagine the DDs or BDs aren't much, if any, more.

True, but I decided to get it to as ordered for now, and upgrade or swap Fog's out later and sell factory ones. (If i decide they don't work for me), right now with Halo fog's I have them set to come on when cornering, may have to change that with the LED's, as I think you stated that it was overkill with them, I have considered the Baja ones, for the mere option to make them amber which I think will be better in the snow (glare), which I think you pointed out on these as well, thanks for the input
IDK - Trial and Error with the new truck, I will hit 2,000 miles tomorrow on it.

Right now, I'm looking into a preemptive strike on mice protection, adding screen to cowl inlet holes for the Air Inlet door, I do not have issues yet, but thought I should at least do something to help protect interior wiring, not much can be done (proven effective 100%) for the engine bay though. I have set my traps in the garage just in case, I get one every few years or so that makes its way in when the door is open, I have sealed up all little spaces around door when it is closed, so it's tight last winter and no mice, nothing I can do about it in work parking lot, open fields around airport, so this is my worry point, I have seen mice , cats , rabbits and deer in the lot and thanks to this forum I now know mice love the Ranger.

We are having issues sourcing certain Samsung color temperature led panels at work. Could be related

Thanks for the info! I just wish I knew ahead of time; I ordered the tremor pack so I could just do that with an XLT and save some coin since I can't get the 501A anyway. All I'll really be missing is what; push button? I could turn a key for that price hahaha.

I'd really like to put the LEDs in mine as they were deleted from my order too. I'm having a hard time with the cost of them though. Ford crediting $500 for what costs over $4000 (here) just for the parts alone?! Not to mention the installation. I personally think this was decisive and calculated by Ford. They knew Ranger owners would want to OEMs and would pay dearly for them. You might just as well have raised the price of the truck $4000 and left them in it.... I am considering some aftermarket LEDs (Morimoto XB LED Headlights LF437). I guess if I could get both OEM LED headlights and foglights for the $2700, I might go that route.

When I was at decision time, to walk away or get dealer stock. I factored in the cost difference.
Dealer stock was selling 10K over MSRP, I did have another dealer offer to buy my (ordered) truck and give me a discount on the one they had in stock. The funny thing is that this one was built 2 weeks before mine only difference was color and (FX4). So, in the end it was about 4k more.
I elected to keep as ordered, my Dealer was zero help in making things right as well as corporate.
You will be getting a survey from your dealer after you take delivery. I unloaded all my frustrations in this survey. Got a response, but it was the general brush off. Sorry but there is nothing we can do etc.
I have vowed that I will not be doing any more business with my local dealer. I am using another dealer for my upgrade parts. Cheaper and Friendlier.

So, yes, it is an expensive investment for something that should be installed, for me if it was a used truck then the aftermarket solutions, Ebay used would have been my decision.
I did try the Halo's for a while, they were decent but, in my mind, they should be better and finally bit the bullet and placed my order for new OEM
