Livernois motorsports or 5 star tuners. Does anyone have a preference?

We will have our tuning available soon! just got the dyno set up at the new facility
I'm happy to wait and see what you guys make available. Some of the shifting stutter through the 10-speed is my only real drivability gripe with the truck. Now that it's got a magnaflow, the sound of it clumsily slipping through gears drives me nuts :p

Not a fan of the shifting strategy at all and running in sport mode isn’t always preferred.

I went with LMS on my 2013 SHO and I was very happy with them. Unleashed Tuning was a close second, based on reviews from other SHO owners at the time. I'll probably go with LMS if I decide to tune the Ranger.

Not pleased with the 5 Star Tune. Been waiting since the 14th for a tune revision and haven’t even received an email back since. Performance tune gets way to much knock on 91 and the adaptive tune is slower than stock. No one seems to care if you call either.. just get an attitude if I ask any questions.

Any news on Unleashed? When I inquired he said he was waiting in a truck to finalize their tune.

MPT is who I used for my Tremor and I will use him again for my Ranger.
Great people to work with!

See if 93 cures the knocks..for the time being.
Doesn’t. It knocks under light loads and steep timing. Such as flat highway at 65 with the cruise set. It will knock in the 2-6 range, so much so that I got annoyed and decided to drive the truck until the LOR dropped down to account for whatever is causing knock. It dropped to -.62 so I assumed it would keep that learned value. After one key cycle it was back to -1.00.

No, because the truck then assumes it can add timing and boost with a LOR of -1.00 which it can’t because the tables of the tune are clearly an issue and aren’t set up properly.
