I'm with you there. I'm not maintaining a ball joint every 3,000 miles on a street truck in 2022.Hijacking this thread.
Was looking at the same thing for my tremor too, specifically the APG ones, but noticed those only come with a uniball mount.
On the tacoma and other inferior truck forums they mentioned they have a shorter life span and need more maintenance and generally not for mainly street trucks, they seem to specify racing only.
I have no say in this, but curious what others who do have uniball mounts with decent mileage have to chime in.
I emailed camburg and asked them about longevity of the uniball. We'll see if I get a response.Hijacking this thread.

Sweet! Did you get the blue anodized uppers? Sickest looking arms on the market.I’m running the APG Mid-Runner Kit with their UCA on my Tremor. Good stuff.
Mehh, you'll be fine, let em hang and put those uniballs.Hijacking this thread.

For sure they seem legit. They even have a dust cover on top, which requires less cleaning.Curious about the Icon Delta joint. Claims to last a lot longer with easier maintenance but it is proprietary and hasn’t been around all that long (relatively). I know Icon UCAs are not yet available for all of our trucks but just curious about the ball joint on them.
They only fit the older aluminum spindles. Any truck with the cast iron spindles are out of luck for now.
