Hi everyone,

Here’s a pic of my new Ranger. I’m coming from a series of lux SUVs which I am tired of driving. Years ago I had a couple of Jeep CJ-7s and a couple of Toyota trucks. Lately began to feel a need to have a truck again. Ranger looks to be the best mid-size truck in the market right now at least for what I need. Towing is awesome and the new suspension is really well sorted. I really like the 2.3 L turbo. Anyway Ranger checked all the boxes for me and bonus to get it in Cactus Gray.

I was waiting on a truck that was already built and nobody could tell where is was exactly. Dealer wasn't hopeful it would arrive this month. I had an incentive that was direct marketing that I wanted to use and was concerned it along with some of the other incentives specifically dealer cash which we have in our area through the month might also expire. Combined it was $2,150 on top of rebate, and discounts/holdback. I purchased a different truck from another dealer this past Saturday since it was exactly what I wanted and in stock and they were willing to match the discounts. Long story short the original dealer called yesterday and said the truck just showed up on the lot. This could happen in your case as well. I've heard several cases of this recently.

For those of you having dealer issues, find a good auto broker. I use one in the Denver area for all new car/truck purchases. Decided last week that I needed a Ranger Lariat Tremor in carbonized gray. Picked it up this morning. Love this truck!

Best of luck. Hope it arrives, but the paperwork idea isn't a bad idea just in case. Just keep in mind that sh!t happens. The original one I was waiting on showed up with a significant paint defect in the left front fender requiring a repaint. I passed on that truck.
