Ya, that's basically the response I got. I'm Eligible for rear flaps only with new hardware for $90. No thanks.
So basically they just needed to redo the rear flap itself? Then there is new hardware? I guess I am ok with what I have then. I already used thicker spacers. What I wish was better was the plastic push pins, I have seen better ones. Might try to see if I have some old Mercedes ones in my tool box to try from my tech days.
The fender flares on the Tremor are a half inch wider than on a standard Ranger. Ranger mud flaps don’t fit.I haven't read up a lot on the Tremor but isn't this just an options package on a regular Ranger? If so wouldn't the body panels be the same and the Ranger mud flaps would fit? By the pictures it didn't look like it had added flares. ?‍
@Secousse If you're going to be doing a lot of off roading I wouldn't get mud flaps. Your friends are correct they're usually the first thing to go as they get hung up on rocks or fallen trees. I had them on one of my F150's back east and they broke the first time off roading. I never added them to any other truck since and I've owned 9 of them. Not an issue for you being in CA but they can get hung up on snowbanks too and when cold they break even easier unless they're rubber.
I wrote a review with the information about the bad customer support. They will of course censor it and never post it but at least I have them a piece of my mind. I understand they are probably a small business with limited resources compared to the big boys in the vehicle mods industry but a happy customer will be a repeat customer and tell others about their product. Now others will read our posts and possibly think twice about buying from someone that won’t make things right for customers. Too bad, I really liked the flaps and the look. Let’s see how long they last on my truck.
Yup, that's about how I feel. Luckily, mine fit well enough, so it isnt a huge issue. Though I would expect better support from their customer service.
Do you have a link? They don't list any Tremor specific ones on their site - just the same two part numbers they've had all along.
They updated them to fit all NA Rangers. The link is below. I also pasted the info from “What it fits” from the product page.
I got mine Tuesday but was missing 2 tabs, they quickly got them in the mail and I'm waiting on them before I can install.
Did you order XL or regular? I'm curious as whether the regular ones are wide enough to cover the width of the tire or if the XL are needed.
For the tremor definitely the XL from what I've read and holding them in place (haven't installed yet) it looks like the right size. I think the regular ones would look small behind the tremor tire and fender flair.
What size are those? Reg or XLI installed mine yesterday. I only had one issue and it was my fault, didn't have one of the bolts lined up properly and ended up stripping out.
the hex hole in one of the flanges. It's still on for now, but I'll probably see if I can have them send me a new one.
