They include a backing plate that slides behind the lip on the fender flare, and that is where the screws go. No modification needed.

Thanks to the information in here I just ordered some RokBlokz XL as well.

I think half the problem is the tires on the Ranger, they seem to like to grab on to the rocks. Don't nearly have this issue with my Ridge Grapplers but since I do actually like these General tires so far, the mud flaps are a welcome addition.

Any chance you could post the installation instructions? I’m curious about drilling holes etc. would like to see how big of a pain they are to install.

There's no holes to drill. You just unscrew the bottom screw from each fender flare, one plastic push pin fastener, and then slide the backing plates in behind the fender flare. The rest is just screwing into the provided hardware.

I spent about 3 minutes debating myself with the emblem color. Had to choose between black, gray or red. Went with black because I figured it would be the safe bet. After seeing the pictures, I think I made the right choice.
