I've been seriously considering the same. An older truck with modern brakes and drive train. No nanny stuff, little electronics. I've still got my 2005 Ranger, and it just goes on and on.My wife lives and dies Honda and all her CRV's have been great with mpg and maintenance. We have a Pilot now and it's nice but the safety crap is extreme and you can't shut it off. I've looked at the Ridgeline's but if the safety b.s is the same as the Pilot then that is a no go. Maybe i need a 1960's C10 or F100 and enjoy the slow.
