In Drive mode, it is normal to skip gears, unless under hard acceleration. It was designed to shift that way. This is the 3rd time I reset adaptive learning and it's ok for a while
It shouldn’t… Mine starts in 1, shifts to 2, then 3. The only time it skip shifts is in normal drive mode.It still skips first to third in Sport mode, right? Pretty sure mine does.
No it has a sport mode they all do ponds s is sportthat truck does not have a sport mode . Just tow haul It shifts the same in tow also
When I shift to sport mode, the gear display does not appear in the dash, so I can’t confirm how it shifts between 1-3 when in sport mode. Am I missing something? I know that the shifts from 1st feels the same, whether I am in normal or sport. It shouldn’t… Mine starts in 1, shifts to 2, then 3. The only time it skip shifts is in normal drive mode.
The gears aren’t displayed in sport mode (which bugs the hell out of me) but I just count the shifts. Also just from doing research, sport mode forces the transmission to shift 1-10 and not skip gears. Sequential shifting they call it.When I shift to sport mode, the gear display does not appear in the dash, so I can’t confirm how it shifts between 1-3 when in sport mode. Am I missing something?
