I have to respectfully disagree in my experience - maybe it hasn't been cold enough here, but the only thing I've noticed in colder weather (down to mid to upper 20's a couple of times) is ONE shift when I'm first starting out that is not smooth. After that, it shifts normally for the rest of the drive. Very occasionally I will get some odd shift feeling but that has nothing to do with cold - and it has happened VERY infrequently. I'm closing in on 10,000 miles now.0ver 13000km now.
this morning i got the standard 3-4 kick in the ass.
then slowing for the next turn, i got the whack a mole thump on the next few downshifts
I might as well be a teenage boy learning to drive dads stickshift on my way to my first date. Its like it doesn't know what the hell it supposed to be doing.
Its a shit gearbox for colder weather.
