So I’ve had this start to become a pretty regular thing now. I know these transmissions can be a little clunky at times but this is happening after I come to a stop. It almost feels like it’s shifting again once it’s stopped but I’m already in 1st.

Any ideas?

Mine did that when new. I think it was the torque converter unlocking but it went away after a couple hundred miles. I think it was part of the transmission learning process.

Several of us had the slip yoke causing this due to inadequate lubrication from the factory. Seems to get worse in warmer weather. Had mine fixed last spring under warranty but it has returned.

Mine does it in sport mode. It's much smoother downshift in normal Drive

My was caused by ungreased slip joint, they ended up replacing the whole driveshaft to get rid of the clunk
