Ford seems to think so, that is why it is a separate shift strategy from the regular one. I think the regular shift pattern was designed for EPA milage first, and drivability second. Also the reason there are twice as many gears as are needed. I know very little about tunes, but if there was one that utilized the Tow/Haul shift strategy with the regular down shifts and then added in the T/H down shifts when in T/H, I'd look into that.When using tow/haul mode for every day driving does it effect gas mileage?
