I put 275/70/17 general grabbers on yesterday, I have a 2.5 in leveling kit. I noticed today that at full lock when turning there is some rubbing what would be a solution for that.

Did you also get an alignment? That happened to me on my '19 Ranger (it was aligned) but they had to make a few adjustments and it was fine after.

After looking again I think it’s on the inside of the tire

I have 265/70/17's with a 2" lift and it slightly touches at full lock, but since I don't drive at full lock , it's not an issue. It only rubs on the plastic fender so I don't worry about it.

I have 285/70/17, had a bit of running at first but it was the fender liner. Recently ford did and alignment and it’s now rubbing on the plastic blocks behind the tire. I will most likely remove them and look into new UCA’s to move the tire forward with new alignments and possibly go up a tire size.

if it happens in reverse it could be the plastic rain flap, that what is catching on mine
keep in mind I have 285/75/17 with a lift

That’s the size I am thinking about. Do you have aftermarket UCA’s? And what size lift, mine is leveled.

Its really loud too LOL everyone looks at me when I am backing out of a space at walfart
I still have the crash bars too, I have the 3 1/2 lift from Rough Country, no spacers on the rims, a member here gave me an idea with a heat gun and just pull it forward a little :)

I first put 275/70R17 General Grabbers on when I had my 2.5” RC level kit on my 2019 Ranger. It was very close to rubbing the crash bars at full lock - I removed the plastic cover from the front bars for a bit more room, then I loosened front and rear crash bar bolts, angled the bars away from the tires as far as they would go, and tightened things back up.

I still didn’t have a ton of room but it was more than I started with. For peace of mind, I eventually swapped out the factory crash bars for ReadyLIFT Anti-intrusion Beams, without cutting.

My 285s rubbed at full lock on the back of the front mud flaps/splash guard I took them off and trimmed them back to the 1st crease using my band saw, took care of it and you can't see the cuts.

Before my tires and wheels I lifted the front end around 2.25" +or -, installed BDS UCA's swapped out my front and rear crash bars with Readylift bars plus i shaved the plastic honeycomb and reinstalled them so I had already accounted for any rubbing behind the tires before I installed them. My driveway is a slight down hill and my front rub only showed up on inclined backing on the aforementioned splash guard. Trust me, take them off and trim and reinstall. It's simple removal, less labor trimming off the truck vs wedging myself under or in a wheel well.
