IIRC it only is for those who have dual climate control. I wouldn't say it's guaranteed to happen but it does seem like it's a very high probability it will happen.My build date is 08/19, but I haven't had the problem yet (73k miles so far). Is this pretty much a guaranteed problem? The previous threads on the topic make it seem like its just a matter of when for 2019's.
Not sure what I'll do if I develop it. I doubt they would give me a rental without warranty, particularly since I'm driving between states every week.
I saw the original thread on this and just glanced over it. Then one day we were driving back from Mexico and of course it was 104 out and it broke. Only hot air coming out from the drivers side so that was a fun 2+ hour drive with more heat being blown on you. ? The only warning I had before hand was about a week earlier I heard a grinding noise coming from the lower center stack. I just did the temporary fix myself which is in this video here from the link I posted above. It's only a 10-15 minute job twice a year once you get the broken actuator out.
