Is there a performance comparison on the best brand of tailgate damper to use?
You need to start a thread on this. That should ruffle a few feathers. ?

Well it's been a couple hours since we've argued about the damper, so we're due for another thread.

There's only so many new things and so many new pictures of the same old trucks and so many new trucks and the same problems and the same issues and the same accessories for people who bought the truck last week.

Those of us that have owned this truck for awhile we've pretty much seen all there is to see on the forum. Nothing much is new anymnore

Sooner or later things are bound to get repeated over and over again (sometimes with new insight). There's nothing wrong with that for those who just signed up. Sometimes the search function brings up necro posts people get upset bringing up an old thread.

Take it easy on the noobs, They have a TON to read and research. The lack forum "news" posts appear like the forum is on life support.....

You forgot the most important one...Tailgate Damper. :lipssealed: ?
Hi Dave,

I made a substantive change to my Tailgate damper by making it OEM. The change was amazing in the smoothness of damper function!

There is a little "Ignore" tab on each thread. It will solve most of your repetition concerns.
Actually, I didn't know that. Thanks.

The OP wasn't necessarily a complaint, more of an observation. It was fun a year ago when the platform was fresh and new products were coming out all the time and new tricks were being found regularly. Naturally, we've matured and there are only so many tricks you can find. And that's okay.

I’m still learning new things all the time from this forum. It’s easy to pick and choose what you want to read.

Hi Phil,

You just doubled the price because of that Ford emblem. ?

You're right about that. When I joined there weren't all that many pages to scan through so every night when I got home I would read through a few of them until I got the the end. Now there's just so much info on here it's easier to just ask the same question again. I have posted links to previous threads when I have them saved to help them look through the older posts. There are some members who are not on here anymore (SID :crying: ) who were very helpful!

People seem to post the same thing over and over again.

Well said, Ranger Pride.

Threads do go off topic, All the time!
They become IMPOSSIBLE to search for INFO!
So, folks ask the same darn question again.
If that urks you, don't respond.

I like this site because folks here will help out someone, even though the question was asked a hundred times before!
They'll direct you to where you want to be, without badmouthing you about not being able to find it yourself.

I thank you all for your help.
