Swollen lug nuts require one or both:

Impact driver
Torque wrench

Personal preference of course.

Or before resorting to such drastic measures may be a gentle massaging.

Maybe throw in a good , hard yank. Possibly pounding on it might help......

Liberal application of 303 will avoid the problem of Swollen Nut Syndrome !!! Proven, with the right procedure, to relieve the symptoms of Swollen Nut's.....
Strangely, this also affects some on the Ford Expedition Forum....

I think they're soaking in 303 Aerospace Protectant getting them UV protected.
