Has anyone installed the swingbox storage container in your Ranger? Looks pretty good and easily removed if you need the room. I would use the rear seat storage for the few items I want to store but we have a kid seat mounted and it's a PITA to remove and reinstall. Do you like them or not?

I have one on the passenger side. Works well. Like you said, you can easily remove it if you need the room.

I really like mine, I store recovery gear in it now. Thinking of picking up another for the other side.

Went with the passenger side as well. Easy to install but if you have a spray in bedliner need to clear the liner out of the holes to attach the brackets.

Second this. Definitely worth the money. I have both, but only the diver side installed. The passenger side arrived broken and is being returned as I type.

If you have the sprayed in liner, you will need both a 6mm x 1.00 and 8mm x 1.25 tap to clean out the bolt holes. Easy though.

FYI I have Wolfhaus's 12V plug and there are no issues with access.

Pretty happy with mine. Make sure any other bed accessories don't interfere and you'll be good.

Do these companies really not put a plug in the holes before spraying the liners in? It costs $550 in Canada for them to do the job. Is it too much to expect them to cover things?

They did remove the tie downs and cover those holes

I have used these for years in all my trucks. Just installed one Thursday in the Ranger.
Absolutely worth the money.

I'm confused then? Why did you say you have to clear the liner out of the holes?
The holes where the bracket attaches near the tailgate were filled with liner

Oh so they weren't threaded holes for bolts, just actual holes?

The way people phrase it sounds like the places are just filling threaded holes full of the liner without covering them up.
