Can you share a pic of the mounting bracket? I just received a pair of these, but no instructions. [:-(
Of the steel things holding up the rails? The instructions were absolutely horrid from what I remember

Okay, got mine in. Thanks for all the help. The guy a LineX said they typically don’t block the unused holes, though they do remove/reinstall the tie down hooks and plugs. I did get a set of drill/taps at HD, it was pretty easy, and I got SS M6 and M8 screws to replace the self-tapping screws that come with the boxes

I have one on my driver's side. Had to trim back the bedliner to get the mounts to seat correctly. I didn't want to cut the liner, but I took my time, double measured everything then was able to use some fender flare style washers to secure the liner in position behind the bracket. When it's closed, it looks like the liner completely fills behind the box.

The tonneau cover release for the rear sits right behind the box when it's closed. I've not done the passenger side (yet) only because I don't want to cut more into the bedliner, but I am also considering doing a spray in liner so if I take that plunge I would get the passenger box.

I have two quick questions about the Swing Case.

First, what prevents someone from reaching into the bed, pulling the handle, and then walking away with your case?

Second, does the top latch actually lock with a key?

Thanks in advance!

Don't have one, but I've seen that 1, you can put a lock on it so it can't come out, and 2, I think it does lock, but not sure that's an option or included.

The ones I have do have a lock for the top, and the hinge bracket incorporates a loop so you can lock it, which prevents it from being lifted off the hinge.

The first line of Defense would be your locked tailgate. Box will not come out with tailgate closed.

They also include a hinge post "lock" with each box, keyed the same as the top lock.

For reference my experience is with the Ford branded boxes.

Both are shown here I think.

Edit: video doesn't show the hinge lock I referred to. Must not be included on the SwingBox branded boxes.

Thank you. I was thinking of using my reward points to get one and the extra tie downs, just to use the points.

This is what I bought with the rewards points and as others noted the top locks as does the bracket that holds it.

I’ve had one for a year. I keep a few small tools and bits in it, but rarely use it. I have two storage tubs in the bed that I use daily, kept in place with a cargo bar. On balance the swing box is worth it for me though.

Does anyone know how far from the side of the bed the box extends out to? (or just the width of the box). It looks like it's maybe 6" or so? I'd like to get an idea of how my camping gear would fit in next to it. (I keep things at the back of the bed for quick access but want to maintain a path to the front.)
