I am leaning towards that production dates will get pushed back more because of the freedom trucker ralley.
Even more if the truckers start one here in the US. And to be clear i support them.

It's possible, however as of now it's only effecting the Canadian engine and assembly plants. It is possible however that components that come from Canada needed for US assembly will eventually be impacted. I guess it depends on what trucks transport them and if alternative routes can be used.

I finally received a shipped email from Ford for my XLT, but notably the Ford tracker, linked in the email, itself has not updated to reflect that beyond an estimated delivery date. Such a wishy-washy tracking service. ?‍

The timeline my truck has been the following:

Order Confirmed 11/15/21
Order Scheduled 12/9/21
Blend date 1/28/22
Production Built 2/10/22
Estimated delivery date 2/28/22 - 3/02/22

It wasn't bad before all these shortages when you could place an order and get it in 6-8 weeks. Now it's a coin toss with all these constraints. Hopefully you all get them soon as the wait is well worth it!

I placed my order 1/20/22 red pepper red xl my salesman and I made sure anything that was delaying the build was removed so now the waiting game with the chip shortage and the Russian crop I just hope to get a build date soon

They'll still be building 5Gs in December. The 6Gs are scheduled to be on lots late spring/early summer 2023.

i contacted a dealer near to me and this was their reply. no wonder they call them stealerships. copied and pasted...

Hey Phil, you can order a Ranger at invoice here as well. We do have and administration fee of $499.00. We also have a pro pak we add to every vehicle @ $599.00 that includes a 2 year paint and dent protection plus we pay your insurance deductible up to $1000.00 in the event you have an insurance claim. Let me know what your thoughts are.

I've ordered a lot of F150's for business and they usually took about 8 weeks before this mess started.
