Welp, I'm out ?. They changed our pay structure here at work a couple months ago and I am now starting to see the ramifications of it. I could probably make the payments, but not comfortably, (even with the DP I have) and in this current economy I'm not willing to chance it. I really appreciate all who have answered my questions and maybe in the future if something changes I can get a used one.


I'll be posting some stuff for sale soon if anyone is interested lol.

Oh man... really sorry. Corporate America is a absolute POS. (Just my opinion! No flames needed.)

I can relate as we have changes coming effective Jan 1st. And I/we will feel the pain. (Quite angry about it right now honestly.) But I am still full speed ahead on the Ranger quest.

Hope the payscale balances and you have more room in the budget. It is easy to forget how "lucky" (not the right word) we are to be able to afford a new vehicle in this economy...

Exactly, in the grand scheme of things, there's more important things in life to worry about then not being able to get a new truck. Thanks, I'll probably hang around a bit so I can congratulate everyone when they get their trucks. ?

Nothing lol. Not much available (stateside anyway) from VW for aircooled parts, basically nuts, bolts and clips is all we can get. We have a local aircooled shop that calls us from time to time to order stuff for them and it's usually just that cause they know lol.
