No. I don't think they get any updates on convoys. They still only have info from the original shipped date of 11/26. Wish I could track the the convoy like you can track the train. Keeping my fingers crossed for arrival this week.Chat give you any answers?

My dealer didnāt even know the order banks were open when I went in on 8/25?And your dealer is useless?
I just hope our trucks arrive before this rail strike really broks up everyone's deliveries...
SMHMy dealer didnāt even know the order banks were open when I went in on 8/25?
And my money is on no rail strike. My dealer didnāt even know the order banks were open when I went in on 8/25?
I think we should nationalize car dealerships and make Tim Bartz the Commissioner for life. Yes, they are so bad I would rather have the government run them!SMH
Being this incompetent should be a crime.
Literally I get it, a ranger isn't a Bugatti, but is it that hard for a saleaperson/dealer to have a freaking clue about their products and the systems in place to order those products?
I could understand in the beginning of the chip shortage not knowing how or what's is going on, but we are 2 years into this people. 2 freaking years. Do better.
I support Tim Bartz for commissioner for life. Even though I don't support lifetime appointments lol.And my money is on no rail strike.

True about contracting it out....need to think about who is the poster child in private industry for sales and service. I'm also curious how the dealer model works in other countries. Is anyone really good at it?I support Tim Bartz for commissioner for life. Even though I don't support lifetime appointments lol.
As someone who goes to the VA for Healthcare, I am not sure the government could do much worse than private industry does already.... Because at the end of the day, they would just contract it out to general dynamics , Lockheed, L3 or someone little like that... Lol
I sure hope there isn't a rail strike, for the economy as a whole. I do need to read more about how it is that congress can make them not strike... That intrigues me.
My dealer has a great reputation, this is my first time dealing with them, and they recognize that I drove past 2 other Ford dealers to do business with them. That said, my sales rep has spent a lot of time with me and we can "talk". He is a young guy and seems to be rather up front. And he wants out of the industry because he can see the writing on the wall. The future is direct sale through the manufacture and his skill set will be of limited value. I was at the dealership on a nice Saturday during the late morning through noon time slot for about 3 hours. I was the only customer there and I also noticed that well over half of the sales desks hadn't been used in a while. I think a lot of these folks are just going through the motions until the inevitable arrives. And your dealer is useless?
