What delivery date did they give you? Mine is tomorrow (Adcock Brothers Transport), but I'll believe it when it happens. I think it will be this week for sure. Order Track shows 14 similar vehicles in transit for me.

I know it takes the dealer a few days to “prep” the vehicle, but you’re going to at least go look at it and take pics the moment it arrives, right?!?

Woohoo at 5am this morning I got my it's shipped email!

It still says between Dec 1 and 7th... I'm not holding my breath, but damn would that be awesome.

Well, until someone else gets their truck and it is a different color...

I looked again at the build and price last night... The f150 and the ranger are still 2 different colors... And I would much prefer the ranger color to the f150 color.... :-/

They didn't give me a delivery date. They just told me my Tracking # (Jack Cooper Transport ) Ramp 4G, Mi Assebly Plnt, MI Nov-26-2022, 13:01 ET. Expected ETA 11/25-12/1.

I asked my salesperson for an update, they said it only gives them a range. Once they get a delivery receipt, they'll give me a day. What "Prep" work do they have to do? What if I want to take off the plastic packing? ?

Pretty short drive from Michigan to Indiana.....the 12/1 date is probably good.

If you really want to do the plastic peeling, tell your salesperson...

They do some systems checks, fluids and pressures and wash it... They call it "detailing" I call it, scratching my brand new paint.

I told my sales guy specifically not to wash it, add any decals or plate frames.

But our dealers truly care about us....they want to make sure we get full value for the prep fee ($800 in my case) that we paid them. Otherwise, that money would just be pure profit for them. Wait.....

Pre delivery inspection.

And not much is involved.
If done correctly and few are....a wash person should need an hour to clean it and a technician an hour to check it over.
Talking to a ford dealer tech, most often that does not happen and instead the tech does a 15 minute check and the wash bay staff clean it for 30 mins or so.

Take it out of transport mode. Check all lights. Set tire pressures. Test every feature and push every button to make sure everything works. Set the clock. Install all lose ship items like the antenna. Check/fill all fluids and check for leaks. Test drive and make sure it drives right test cruise etc. Ford wants a long test drive. But I never do more than a mile because I know how picky people are about miles on new cars. It pays an hour to do it, but it can be done in 15 minutes, actually doing everything the right way.
