Just remember that even though it is "shipping" that it does a lot of time sitting. Even back before all the covid issues, in 2019 - my truck took 21 days to ship to the west coast and of those 21 days it spent over 10 days just sitting, not moving.
Right. What you’ve outlined has, and still is my expectation for shipping via rail. I’m still anticipating some roadblocks at some point along the way, but so far it’s exceeding expectations. I got the “it’s been shipped” notification on Monday 11/21 and through CSX Touch Trace, their update yesterday, 11/26, was that it is clearing Kearney, NE (Denver as end destination). Knock on wood of course, but I’ve been pretty shocked at this whole process, especially after reading through some MY22 stories.

Here is a map showing my trucks journey in 2019:

And here is a VERY (at least I think it is) interesting listing of its status along the way from order to build to shipping. Back then we had a member who had access to internal Ford systems who would give us status updates on where are vehicles were. Dealers have access to this same level of detail info but most either don't know or aren't interested in providing that detail to customers:

I've said it before.... And I'll say it again... Customers shouldn't have to go through a dealer for information on their order.

For crying out loud, my dang grubhub order has a GPS tracking on it. If a customer put a down-payment on an order and has a verified account, we should be able to follow it on its track in the Ford pass app.

I totally agree - and for me the most frustrating part is that the info is ALREADY available - they just don't make it visible to customers, only to dealers. Its not like they have to create a whole system to track it - IT ALREADY EXISTS!!!

It’s like an MLS for realtors. They have one proprietary software that gives them a smidge more visibility than customers/clients. But I’m reality, if this was all public knowledge we probably wouldn’t have to be so dependent on the dealers/realtors. (No disrespect to realtors lol just bought a house last year and their negotiation and knowledge is very valuable, but the MLS… come on lol)

No one's status changed over the last ~48 hours, right?

Just want to make sure those employees who are doing such a great job of getting these vehicles where they need to be, on schedule, aren't inconvieneced (sp) on a holiday weekend...
Someone got up real early this morning or worked really late last night..

Not for nothing, but the time stamp on mine is 1:50, so mine shipped sooner ?

My dealer is beyond worthless. I had emailed him before Thanksgiving saying my truck was built with a delivery window of 11/22 -11/28. I asked if he had a more specific estimate. Just got a voicemail from him saying my truck "should be delivered in the next month or so". I am 100% certain he made that statement without checking anything. He is such a douche.

Edit: I called dealer back. As I suspected, he had no idea that my truck had been built and was completely unaware of the delivery window I was given. On the bright side, I made him confirm again that there will be zero ADM when I go to pay. In the meantime, I'll be sure to let him know when my truck is delivered, because he will continue to be clueless. Lastly, he kept referring to "your car"....doesn't even remember what I ordered  .

I hate it when people with more tools/information at their disposal actually know less than you do.

Interesting update....just got off with Ford Chat and they said my truck is In Transit with the same delivery window of 11/22-11/28. The chat text went away before I had a chance to save it but it gave the name of the shipper and ramp number. Based on this, I guess the Order Track app will update soon and I'll get a shipped email. Things are looking up. I'm going to keep my dealer in the dark just for kicks.
