Seems like ford is telling a whole lot of people their build date is week of 10/17……….

I've only seen a handful or so on here....what makes you think it's a whole lot?

I think that's a Maverick, and I'm reasonably certain the color is "Area 51."

I wonder if any of the early '23 orders that got the 10/17 production email were Tremors? I got the email (8/25 order date), but mine is just an XLT.

I ordered a tremor and haven’t gotten an order date yet.

I am also seeing the same thing. My guess is that the tracking won't work until production kicks off on the date they assigned you. But who knows?

It may just be website cookies, but the last few times I checked mine, my order number and VIN were pre filled in. In the past I had to enter them myself each time.

I tried to change my order to add a locking rear differential, but my dealer said they tried a couple times and said my order is now locked in and no more changes can be made.

Is there any significance to it being locked? Does it mean the 10/17 build date is not likely to be moved, or is that just wishful thinking on my part?

I don't know, but my dealer says no more changes are allowed at this point.
