Support group for those waiting for their MY23 Ranger

Greetings! First post here, but have been lurking for a few months. Went to my local dealer yesterday and ordered a 23 Lariat, 501a, chrome package, etc. The dealer informed me today that both of those packages aren’t available for order as of now, but will submit my order once they become available. I’m not too surprised, but wonder if they will even be available for 23 ?

For those with confirmed 2023 Ranger orders, how much of a price increase was there over the 2022 Ranger?

I've seen the order guides, but I haven't seen 2023 pricing to go along with that. Did I miss something?

The base MSRP on mine went up a little over $200. I think the packages and add ons were all the same price as MY22.

I almost walked out of the dealership when they told me the auto start/stop feature was a constraint and has been deleted from MY23 builds.

I'm a little nervous about my Azure Gray with Sport Package selection because I wasn't able to see it using B&P. I can see the Azure Gray on the Lightning B&P and I like it a lot. Just hope I like the combo when I see it. Anyone else order this combo?

That’s one of the reasons I ordered one. I like the look of the 5g better and I definitely didn’t want a first model year experiment. The 5g design is well tested and hopefully bulletproof at this point.

I was debating on ordering the Azure grey too, as it really is an enticing color option on the Broncos. I ended up going with classic black, as that's what my gut was telling me. Plus not adding the Azure grey saved me some money lol. I'm sure you'll love the combo, I'm excited to see them in person!

I was wondering at what point my order should show up in My Account on Ford.com when I click on Reservations and Orders. I placed my '23 order on 8/25 (confirmed same day by Ford). But, when I click on this tab, it says I have no orders or reservations. As with the order tracking site, will my order not show up until I have a VIN? I thought it would at least show up as an order on the My Account order/reservation tab.

I have the same question. It’s crazy to think that order status tracking on a $5 T-shirt is better than ordering status tracking on a $45k truck. You should repost on the 2022 thread so you can get feedback from people further along in the process.

At the very least, since Ford has already confirmed our orders we should be able to login and see “order received” with all of the details included. Maybe even share expected timelines, not necessarily for our trucks but at least “2023 Ranger assemblies expected to begin 10/10/22.*”

[1] According to Ford’s Fleet Distribution News Bulletin, 2023 Ranger scheduling begins September 1st and job 1 production is 10/10/2022.

[2] I remember reading somewhere that scheduling is done every Thursday, so if you don’t hear anything on the first, maybe you’ll hear back on the 8th.

[3] Again, pretty silly that Ford/dealerships don’t share this information with people who’ve already placed orders.

2022 Tremor owner here. Here’s my experience with ordering and email/order tracker correspondence. Note EM= email received and OT= order tracker updated.

EM w/ prod date change 02/25/22 to03/07/22
OT vehicle in production 03/01/22
EM & OT vehicle built 03/09/22
EM & OT vehicle shipped 03/15/22
Dealer texts me pics of truck on lot 03/15/22
EM & OT vehicle is at dealer 03/21/22 ?
I did not pick up truck until 04/04/22 because of being out of town till then.

At no time did the Ford.com my account show ANY information ever.

I was (pleasantly) surprised to get an email from Ford this morning telling me that the '23 XLT that I ordered on 8/25/22 is scheduled for production the week of 10/17/22. I wasn't expecting it until after the first of the year.

It is inevitable that it had to be started. Let the fun begin. Perhaps include order date, Trim Level, Cab/bed style and any packages!

Just received my 2023 ranger build date from Ford for the week of October 17th!!!! It’s a super crew tremor lariat(500a), with carbonized grey, trailer package, tech package and spray in bed liner. I got may order in on August 3rd!
