Sure seems like I am last place with an order date of August 10th, up until yesterday according to Ford my scheduled production date was Nov 17th but for the 1st time ever (thanks to my local dealer mis-typing my e mail address) I received the Ford e mail below stating my production date has moved to Dec 5th. Anyone else out there with a 23 order in the 2nd week of August that is as far out as I am? I ordered a basic XL with only option as the tow package.

Azure Gray Metallic is actually the only AG far as I’m aware and can find in a quick search, the other new gray is Avalanche Gray. There’s also an Asher Gray. Gahhh so many colors!!

I'm not at my desk to look it up, but I believe the Bronco that has an Azure Gray color in the build and price... If you search or look up thread you'll see we've discussed it before... The Bronco isn't the only Ford vehicle with Azure Gray vs Azure Gray Mettalic listed....

I don’t doubt there’s been some confusion, but again far as I’m aware, the only AG, is AGM.

I've never gone to look at the color charts, just the build and price...

I was mistaken, the f150 doesn't even offer the AGM. The lightening, the super duties, and the ranger do and the colors in all locations of the Ford website look different. The lightening looks like an over hyped gray, the ranger looks blue and the super duty looks like it's in the middle.

And than you toss in the spy shots and the videos and they range from baby blue to silver.

So there is no definative "this is assure Gray mettalic" pictures anywhere...

Shrug.

Up thread we have discussed how the differences in the Ford website are ridiculous to some of us. It's like the marketing people don't talk to the web designers and no one is talking to the designers and engineers of the vehicles.... And the only ones who "suffer" are us, the customers....

Here is the picture from the ranger B&P where it shows the full name of the color... And if you look the Bronco looks like a Matte version of area 51 (imo)...

So, I went and downloaded the order guides... Because I have no idea why I didn't do this previously...

And look at that, there is only Azure Gray Metallic....

No idea why I didn't look at the order guides previously.

It can't be disputed that all the vehicles look like they have different color paint though, right?

It can't be disputed that all the vehicles look like they have different color paint though, right?

No doubt. Poor renderings aside, I remember back in high school graphic design we would tune our displays using physical color swatches so as the color we were seeing on the screen was the color it would be when printed.

Across the various brands of displays settings would widely vary; thus meaning the person viewing an average un-calibrated display could be seeing the color under any part of the spectrum lol.

My initial thoughts on the colors before we had Ford web images was filters, lighting and camera hijinx from you tubers....

That super-duty that was unveiled looks like a different truck based on who filmed it. LOL

And I don't doubt the color variations between screens - heck phones have settings that let you decide how much the phone is going to change the colors - one would think they should be able to get the color to be the same from vehicle to vehicle.

The dang Bronco and lightening look nothing like that little color dot....
