The driver and passenger armrests in my ranger are very squeaky, specifically in the area circled. Does anyone know a solution to this?

Just as you drive down the road and it rattles, or when someone leans onto it hard?

You might try removing the door panel a tightening any fasteners you find in that area.

Had that issue in my 19' Ranger. Took the door pannel off and used some small wire to pull up that area tighter to stop the squeek. Hard to explain what it was but if you take it apart you'll see what I mean. If you have interior ambient light be very careful as the light tube in behind the door handle breaks easily......

Felt furniture pads are amazing. If there is any rubbing inside you can pop one on there. Old school trick when there was more metal in interiors. Heck still worked on my wifes Explorer. Sunroof squeak the internet couldn’t figure out. Boom felt pad.

I seem to recall my mom had a S197 Mustang that came new from the factory with felt pads stuck on points of the dash that came into contact with each other. So Ford does just what you do from the factory sometimes!
