I bought a used ‘21 Ranger Lariat, has the door keypad installed (and on the window sticker). Didn’t come with the printed factory code card, so I’m trying to find an alternative way of using the keypad. I’ve tried very carefully following a few YouTube videos about how to use both keyless-entry fobs and some ignition cycling to trigger it to display the code on the driver’s screen.
Despite my best efforts I have never gotten it to show the code. I’ve also yet to find a video or post explicitly confirming this has been done on a Ranger (most videos are F150’s). Has anyone else ever had that procedure work in their Ranger?
One video for another Ford model said the code was printed on a sticker on a module near a fuse box behind some passenger side trim. Is there any equivalent for the Ranger?
