Thanks. I hadn't considered Tremor leafs. And recently heard about ROW. I'll check those out.
^^^ this. But I would not expect a great improvement in ride just better load and articulation off road depending on spring progressiin and weight rating. Another thing to consider is tire choice and pressure.

Actually the ride may be improved. The weight capacity will be the same. As for articulation,it's hard to say. The amount of height increase and the amount of leafs in the pack it may not have any increase articulation at all.

I have them saved on eBay an they stopped shipping for a while. Then they offered it again but it was close to $500. You can get aftermarket springs for what those would have cost shipped. I checked the part number on the tremor springs an they run close to a grand from a dealership that doesn't offer discounts.
Yep, another user corrected me that the Tremor springs are now available. When Benny confirmed and quoted the price it was as expected from Ford. An arm and a leg and not worth it compared to aftermarket.

My timing in life is pretty poor. However, it seems I put up a W on my timing of the ROW springs.

I would say my global leafs are a bit more compliant and they certainly provide a bit more flex. I think they're harder to come by now though.

Yep I'd agree with that as I was also lucky to score a set. With the Ford Fox 2.0 and the rear leaf I'm really happy with the ride now. I hit the large speed bumps when I head over to my uncles place at the speed limit ( 35 ) and hardly even feel them, suspension does it's job.

I've got the Fox 2.0s as well and I'm very happy with the combo!

you can talk to the Mod that pushes TG Dampers, and once you secure and order, he will correct the spelling in the title for you.
Good thing it's just "Stuff" and not some other 4 letter typo ? ...

Unless you are trying to make it complicated or expensive just air down the tires and cushin the seat of the complainer.

Trucks always ride on the stiffer side when they're empty, so throw 300-500 lbs in the bed and it'll ride a lot better

How does cutting bump stops soften a ride? There's more going on if you are banging around to the point the springs are bottoming out. Cutting the bump stops just covers up the real problem, that being shocks or springs.

I have a 2020 Ranger XLT 4x4 Supercab with Fox 2.0 shocks and Icon UCA’s.
My wife doesn’t like riding in the truck because of the stiff ride.
I’d like to swap out the rear springs to smooth out the ride some.
I know APG Deavers, OME and Icon have aftermarket rears. I also have North County Spring that could build a pack.
All it takes is money.
I’m wondering if removing the stock bump stops will eliminate that hard hit the rear takes. Has anybody tried that?
Removing bump stops would not soften the ride unless the truck is loaded to squash to the bump stops. Only other ways the bump stops would come into play is if you hit a SUPER big bump.

Ive been playing with it. I think when the top leaf contacts the bottom, stiffoverload spring it stops hard. That happens about the same time it contacts the bump stop. And only leaves about 1/2” of shock shaft before that bottoms out.
I don’t want to trim or eliminate the bump stop, I’ll need it to limit shock travel and help with loads.
It is what it is. I’ll just have to swap them out.

When I had the ICON UCAs and coilovers I had the same complaint: rear rides so stiff even with the ICON rear shocks. It felt way out of balance with the front which was great on and off road. I had the ICON rear leafs installed and it’s such a huge difference and finally felt balanced with the front. I had them installed as-is (didn’t put in the extra leaf that came with it) and it only raised the rear .5” or less. Even now with my long arm kit up front, the rear still feels pretty well matched with the front. I haven’t measured the articulation compared to stock but anecdotally it stays grounded in the rear much more.

When I did my rear suspension, Fox 2.0 and Global leafs, I also swapped out the bumpstops for Raptor bumpstops. Not sure how they'd work with the factory suspension, but they might be an option for you, Icon as well.

APG includes Raptor stops with springs. If I wanted to try that, what Raptor? Ranger or F-150?
