Squeaky Back Seat Solved!

I bought the XLT 4x4 in August and have had an irritating squeak coming from the back seat somewhere. Finally found the issue! One of the rubber stoppers behind the seat was rubbing too hard on the plastic it rests on. The rubber was bent as if its too big for its job when the other two stoppers on the other side are not bent as their size seems perfect. I removed the bent rubber stopper and no more squeak. I love the truck but am not impressed with some of the details. I can't help picture some hung over dude putting the truck together on the assembly line. When I am paying $35,000 for a truck I want it to be perfect. Absolutely perfect. Hope ford recalls the dash/defroster rattle occurring on these trucks. Anyone else having these issues?

Hey David I am currently having the same issue and have tried everything I can imagine...except this, I will give it a try in the afternoon. I owe you a beer if it works out!

Mine had an annoying noise but it was a bushing where the bed meets the frame. Fixed under warranty. I eliminated it being the back seat by dropping it and it not helping at all. Thought that is what was doing it at first.

I am dismayed by the assembly quality out of Michigan Truck....Time to change Plant Managers and get one who will kick A$$ and take names...
