I hope Ashley isn't tucked away for the summer. You're going to have to fire up her up by Sunday to get that soggy air out of the house. ?

My wife being from Nashville when we bought the house we’re in now south of Boston said one thing to me. Now look at me in the eyes she says before saying. I’m not going to live here in the summer being 6 months pregnant without central air conditioning. So, how long until you can get this done!

Um, we got to upgrade the electrical service from 100 amp to 200 amp. Get a pad poured and then mate the air conditioning to the central hot air system. I’d say a month at the most!

You got 2 weeks, better get on it or I’m going to go live with mom! ?

Up in Alberta here,
34°c (93°F) today
37/38°c(98/100°f) Thursday.
Winter is -40°c/°f. So it's not great. But it is dry which helps. We just aren't use to it. We wear shorts with two feet of snow.

Edit: one place in BC was 47.5°c (117.5°f). Gross.
Yup, Braking records in some areas of BC Canada. Lytton was 117.5 F.
At least its not high humidity. The heat wave is heading East towards Alberta.
Should start cooling off tonight in Vancouver.

We've a saying in the 50th state which says "Lucky you live Hawaii".

In all my life here I've never seen the mercury go above 100 degrees F, nor below 50.

Today's forecast is for a low of 73, high of 85, humidity about 60%, bright sunny, blue sky weather

Yups, lucky I live Hawaii!

Hot here too, 82f, feels like 100f. No idea how you survive in 110+ heat?

-20c doesn't sound so bad anymore. I like my snow.

and you'd probably have a coat on too...I think we may get up to near heat wave levels at 67 today!!;)
I know you guys in certain areas of CA get some really great weather but I just couldn't handle what comes with it. Just the high COL alone keeps me out never mind the other "underlying issues" there. ;)

How'd you know?

It was only 115 yesterday in Beaverton Oregon. Terrible for us here. We set records 4 straight days.

Same here in Hawaii, when the temp drops below sixty residents bundle up as though they are going on an extended Arctic expedition and portable space heater sales soar...lol

But those darn thunderstorms, I’ve never had a half second of visibility every windshield wipe on max setting until I drove there. Crazy beautiful lush areas though.

Been in the 90s past couple of days here in SW Ohio. And of course i have to work outside this week - as my sister in law, (well her husband) only trusts me to take care of their pool while they are on vacation. I Better get going as I have to check the skimmer and the fridge ( he leaves it stocked)......

as some one else mentioned, I also prefer heat to snow and ice, but certainly not dangerous heat. Keep a watch on young'uns, old'uns and furry ones.

I saw someone here last week at the grocery store wearing a hoodie, it was 108 out at the time. I'm guessing they're a native and it still wasn't hot to them. lol

One day soon we're going to make it over to your beautiful state. My gf is part Hawaiian and has been there 8 times, me none yet.
