Ha. Aint that the truth? My dad, ex navy guy in wwII, could sleep anywhere. He said he could curl up next to the desal engines in his landing craft to take a nap.
Yup, when we where flying we would curl up under the sensor stations in P-3 patrol aircraft. Once we got airborne it was a race for the good spots.

While I haven't tried it, I think that I could sleep just fine in the back seat of a Ranger crew cab.

And yes if there is one thing that every service member learns, no matter which branch, it is the ability to sleep anywhere at anytime.

I would get a bed rug and sleep back there. Those look really comfortable and would be better than trying to sleep all crunched up in the back seat.
Sure, with a bedrug and a quilt, it could not be much worse than dozing off in the den after watching TV!

Are you wanting to shut the doors? Are there bears around? The best way is to try it in your driveway. It is your body and only you can decide if it is comfortable.

I was gonna say that I'd recline the front passenger's side seat fully before going to the rear but that little air mattress could work. I wouldn't want to do either for more than 4 or 5 hours though.

5' 11" also.

I have a 02 Ranger Edge with an extended cab and 60/40 front seats. I've slept many times laying across the front seats. I'm under 5ft so it helps, definitely helps if you have a pillow, and you gotta move the seats back some and line them even, I sleep on my side with my head @ the driver side, the seatbelt buckles can be uncomfortable so if you have a sweater or something to put over them so they don't dig into you as much.
If you only need a few hours sleep, its doable, not necessarily the most comfortable but it works.

I just had to check these out on Amazon Canada.

We’re used to being hosed on products our American friends can buy for far less. It was looking like this would be the case once again but then I scrolled further…

Nice - that’s about $32 USD. Sure, it might not be the same quality, but we’re talking about a thing you buy so you can sleep in the back of your truck………down by the river!

There was this Kickstarter, Notell...Too bad this idea didn't take off...quick setup/break down...there's enough room for a 6' 3" person to stretch out for/aft on the passenger side...I've thought about making my own...

might be enough room to stuff my wife in the backseat under the platform, she has complained sometimes about having to sleep under the truck, but that's women for ya, totally unappreciative.

I slept in the back of my work truck every night for 2 years, an 18 Scab F150. For 6 years before that was an 06 Escape that was probably smaller than my Ranger.

I'm sure I could crash in the Ranger factory seats, but removed them and have a dog bench filling the whole rear. I could definitely sleep back there now.

Yup. 1st night, hardly anyone sleeps. 2nd night, most sleep. 3rd night, everyone sleeps, no matter the circumstances.
