Running tally of VIN #, order date and build date by Ranger5G member (2019 MY)

I was told on the chat build that they can give you an update with the Dealer ID# and an order #. I still don't have an order # or a VIN so I'm up a creek without a paddle.

Where do you find the "Chat Build"?

When you are building your truck online you can chat with a Ford rep about your vehicle. They told me if I give them an order # and the Dealer ID they can give an update on the status of my truck build.

I am guessing that none of us will find a good reliable pattern to gauge why each of our particular Rangers have varying lengths from order, to build and finally delivery. From what I have observed here and on the Blue Oval forums, it seems there have been a lot of issues related to certain component availability, quality control, weather and other factors that have made this process illogical.

Spent 10 years at the dealership level and ordered all our Ford inventory. Never saw it quite this crazy for a new model introduction. Maybe back in 1997 when they introduced the Expedition it was a little similar...lol! If you have any type of build date, I would be happy. I started bugging my local dealer general manager a year ago. He gave me his first allocation in Oct. My truck is getting built 3/11. I am just happy it's scheduled.

In my case the dealer was unfamiliar with the ROVP requirement and the order was not scheduled until I got thru the ROVP program in November. I was never informed of any commodity issue with my truck and I don't think that caused any delays.

My planning for the Ranger extends back to June when I decided to sell my boat (not used enough) and my 2002 Ranger XLT so it's been a long time in the works. The great news is my Window sticker became available today with a blend build date of Wednesday 2/13...so all is good....

finally got my vin. 24809 with a delivery ETA of 4/21/19. How or when am I able to see the window sticker?

Oh Boy I am just as perplexed as everyone else with the vehicle tracking system...my Ranger has a (check) in the processing dot, no checks in any of the other dots but an estimated delivery date of 3/31/2019. I know from my dealer's spread sheet that it is scheduled for the 03/11 week like a lot of others on this forum, but not really sure how they can give an estimated delivery date without it even being built yet. Staying patient like the rest of us. Also hopefully they get the bug out that has caused the recall!

Today I did all my paper work and wrote a check for my Saber FX4 Lariat Super Crew. I was told that I would drive it away by February 17. Maybe it will come rapped as the 24th is for me a mile stone birthday.

Did anybody else order the Keypad with their build and if so how long was the wait between order date and delivery date?

Yes, my order includes the keypad. Ordered 11/5, build week of 3/18. Hoping for delivery first half of April.

Mine also includes keypad and sprayin bedliner. It is in production now and est delivery of 3/3.

I know NC is closer than Oregon, but it seems weird it should take an additional 2 weeks (we have the same build week). I'm hoping that all these delivery dates are the classic "Under promise and over deliver". From some of the posts, it sounds like they can come in earlier than expected. I found out my build date is 3/13 but the expected delivery isn't until 4/14? That just seems WAY too long. I guess I will find out in a couple of months.

My build date is 3-11 and delivery date is 3-31 and i'm in Cumming Ga

I agree, mine has been stuck on in production since 1/25... My ford pass connect is ready to activate the truck since 1/27. I sure it doesn't take 12 days to build a truck. Again this tracker sucks.

When did they post your window sticker? Mine was posted 1/15/19. I see your blend date was 1/24/19 while mine was 1/23/19. If I were you I would ask my dealer what they see on line. The dealer can also contact the factory rep. to see what is going on.

My dealer contacted the factory rep. to see if we could pickup at the factory (60 miles away) but, no dice, have to wait.

The sticker showed up 1/23/19 (That is when I saw it) It is still in n/a status. No change on anything since my last post.

I am going to call the dealer either today or tomorrow.
