Mine is not a Roush build, mine was all built by a dealer in MD
the only thing I did was go up one tire size from 285/70 to 285/75
in two years the only things I have into it is the lower Rad hose and a tie rod end.
now that I know I am going to keep it and its out of warranty, I may mount my radios and drill holes in the roof for the Antennas now LOL

It's easy to lose control... I've spent over $600 this week on lights i don't need.

Idk being able to see at night if you find yourself in a area with no street lights seems like a pretty solid way to spend $600 to me.. as ruler of my own personal world I approve your purchases ?

It's about to get bright. My (current) best LED throws out 1lux@315M. My new bar will throw 1lux@926M.

I have to reconfigure my switch panel now.

Then,,, I had to buy a blinding brake light to flash the tailgaters.

I have serious self control issues.

Going to be almost as bright as Misfit’s Enterprise Ranger edition?
Those 5D Projector lamps will get down the road....

But I'm really excited about my "Rear Fear" light. Mainly, because I've never seen it on another vehicle -and- I thought about doing it after beer #4. So I want to see if my ½ cooked idea will be a hit -or- a return for store credit....

First off, love your truck.

I am putting together a parts list I am going to pull the trigger on next month, and I wanted to know if you had any issues with your downpipe.

I plan to have a similar set up. Tune, intake, intercooler, downpipe and I already have an AWE exhaust. Going to do the suspension too, but I am moving back to a more normal set up for wheels and tires, similar to the pic I have attached from another bloke at American Trucks. My current build was from the previous owner, sans exhaust and running boards. My truck is a 2020 Supercrew 4x4 black appearance with 30k mi

Current list, ever changing:

Tune, of some nature
Roush intake (for bling/sound)
Intercooler and piping upgrade (better cooling, easier on turbo, more power)
Downpipe, maybe (I don't know how risky they are, but maybe a tune is required. Some people have reported putting them on and getting codes) (more power)
New shocks/struts (nothing too crazy, but I want a better on the road ride. Still mulling this)
Maybe UCA's (currently have Rough Country the truck came with, used. Not sure if I should switch these out or not)
Wheels/Tires (probably 17 9.5 with 32s)
Ford raptor grill
Roush seats? if you can buy them
paint matching fender flares, maybe
Bull bar/maybe some kind of roll bar, racing style or one of those nice bed covers
Remove 4x4 stickers, Eco boost emblem, black out ford logo on tail gate

My truck is paid off, so I want to turn her into more of a sporty go-fast truck with some offroad capability. I won't be doing much off roading and don't tow or work where i need to haul around a bunch of stuff

Would appreciate any feedback you can provide on your experience with your set up.

First,,, you truck looks freakin' bad-ass !

Second,,, thanks. It's been a longtime dream of mine to go all out building a bulletproof mid-sized truck. I've had 5 Rangers (lifetime) and they never disappoint. I got super lucky to pick up a low mileage used 2022 Roush as my starting point.

Third,,, I used the CVFab Downpipe. It did throw a code until I installed the O² Spacer. Zero problems since. You will notice a huge change in your exhaust note. And you will feel a power/torque boost. I do not recommend a 3" midpipe. Stick with the factory 2½" midpipe. I enjoy being loud but the 3" midpipe is only suitable for a Mad Max movie.

As far as tuning goes,,, I started life with the SCT BDX tuner I bought from STEEDA. It was an improvement over stock but not nearly enough. My 2nd tune came from Revolution Automotive. That one made serious power but some of the lower gear shifts were too violent. I spoke with the tuner yesterday and he's rewriting my tune this weekend so my shifting will be a little softer. I attached my 0-60 pulls using 2 different acceleration apps. My 1st pull (just after midnight on Christmas) was my LAST time hitting the SCT tune hard. My second pull was 9 hours after I uploaded the Revolution Automotive tune. I switched apps and made a second pull to back it up. I like that my tuner I accessible and open to customizing the tune to my preferences.

As for the intake,,, I cried when I took my Roush CAI off and sold it. It truly belongs on my truck. But the Injen is on another level, performance-wise. It make a little more Hp than the Roush... but it makes a lot more Tq. And the Injen makes a turbo sound like no other. It's awesome.

As for the future of my suspension,,, the RC UCAs are on my wish list. Along with Fox 2.5s all around and a BDS 3½ inch lift.

And,,, the Roush style seats are available thru Katzkin.

Right now I'm going thru my "Bright Light" phase. Roof bar arrives tomorrow along with an LED cargo light that can be wired to operate as a brake light / tailgater deterrent... I'm still experimenting with mounting solutions but I'm considering 300# fishing magnets.

wow, you've gone all out sir! I plan to drop about 10kish, depending. This is my last 'toy'. Sounds like I need to swap out my intake plans.

If I can safely get my truck into the 5's for 0-60, I'll be happy. Hell, my 02 Mustang GT wasn't that fast. I'll also enjoy the utility of the truck. win-win.

Yes, I considered a Raptor but seems ridiculous for my use.

Did you put your Katzkin seat covers on yourself? What about your other mods?

I have to find a shop in Omaha to do all of this stuff

You'll easily run mid-to-low 5's with a good tune and all the intake/exhaust upgrades. You'll be amazing at how "effortlessly" your truck will climb to 80 mph. My buddy at the dealership coined that phrase after he drove it.

Same... I could buy the Raptor. But I prefer the exclusivity of owning 1 of only 2000 Roush Rangers. Ford built 2000 RRs last week. I don't want what "anybody" can get.

The seats were included in the Roush pre-title package.

I had a local exhaust shop handle the Downpipe and Roush Catback all at once.

My lighting is being handled by a local stereo installer who does excellent quality work. He'll be doing my speaker/amp/subwoofer upgrade soon.

I have a really good / really hard to reach mechanic that did my intercooler and charge pipes.

The Oil Separator, CAI, Tailgate Assist, Hood Struts, Engine Cover, Coolant Expansion Tank, Backup Lights, Pod Lights, Bed Cover, and Linkswell were all done in my driveway.

You may want to look into the Linkswell Gen6 if you want to transform your interior. It may be one of my favorite upgrades on the entire truck.

Yeah that new 'head unit' I guess you call it makes the OEM one I have look like it's from the 80's

That's crazy nice!
If you get one... bite the bullet and go with the American based company. It's worth the extra $$$ to have actual support. I love this thing. I hated my Sync3. It runs apps like any phone or tablet. I can watch live TV on Hulu. Movies on Netflix, Disney+, Amazon Prime, and Plex. I play music from the radio, Spotify, SiriusXM, etc... I watch Buckeye games in my truck when I have to work on Saturdays.

Also,,, I hope you're a better shopper than I am. I have a bad habit of spending more than necessary. If I can't decide between 4 different light brackets,,, i'll buy all 4. Then return 3 of them after I decide which bracket I like. Same with this light bar I just bought. I wanted a curved bar that was low profile. Doesn't exist in the style I want. I chose the straight bar because the 5D Projector Lamps reach out ¾ of a mile. But,,, there's a curved bar in my shopping cart just in case I don't like the look of the straight bar.
