I watched this video while doing the installation in my driveway. It took 3 hours. And I did screw up the back up camera connection so I had to take it ALL apart to fix it. But,,, doing it the 2nd time was a 45 minute breeze. Experience and a lack of fear make things go faster.

Also,,, Linkswell has a great channel on YouTube and a couple of good pages on Facebook (which I miss since torching Facebook).

I hate it !

Sending it back for the weaker CURVED light bar.

That bad choice lasted 1 minute...

I'm ok with the less powerful bar because it matches my other "6 mode" LEDs and the curve HAS to look better than the straight bar.

By the time I finish... it might be in the running.

Someday (when I'm done modifying it) I'll do a final breakdown of what's in it,,, and what got returned, thrown away, or stashed for another day.

If you think I go overboard modifying my cars & trucks,,, then you should see the guns i build.

He’s definitely getting up there.. Misfitoy has a lot of lights as well so it’ll definitely be interesting… maybe have a contest between the two of them to see who lights up China from the coast of California more.. then they won’t need that artificial sun they’ve been rumored to be building ?

I definitely have the record for returning parts that I don't like. For example, i just finished buying my 3rd roof light bar in less than a week. I wanted the power from the first one but it was straight, and it looked ugly on my truck. I like the 6-mode capability of the curved light bar that I ordered but,,, I hate it already and it hasn't even arrived yet. It's over 5 inches tall on the roof. That's too tall for my liking. So I just ordered a single row 300w curved light bar for my roof that will only be 2½ inches high (after I modify the brackets).

Sheeesh you might be right about the return ratio ?.. but I can totally understand.. if you get something and it doesn’t suit properly, heck yeah it’s getting sent back. You’re truck looks really good and the big light on top looking like a after thought would take away from the overall awesome vehicle you’ve put together…

the lower profile and curve (that I hope will match enough) right above the windscreen..yeah the big beefy bar light poking off the top definitely doesn’t have the greatest look..
Hope the curved bar fits the way you want it too.

I think I can make it work. I'll have to cut/weld/drill the mounting brackets a little. But I want it as low profile and stealthy as possible. If I don't get the look I want,,, I'll scrap the entire roof light project.
