Just checking in on my favorite thread, even though I no longer own a Ranger. I traded the Ranger for a Jeep Gladiator which was okay except for the anemic power, so now I own a 2020 Ram Warlock 5.7 Quadcab with a 6ft bed. Spent about 6k on wheels, 33" tires, bedliner, boards, tint, de-badging...
My truck, gets about 15 mpg in the city, but I only drive about 10 mins to work so no big deal. That is stock mind you. Gladiator weighs about 500lbs more than the Rangers, if I go 35 's it will be probably add at least another 100lbs if not more. loving the Fox 2.5's though
I miss my Ranger, but I don't miss the anxiety of owning it. Just had 30k miles, but I convinced myself that trans would crap out soon. It did shift hard in normal, but in sport it seemed to be better. I'm also glad to be back in a non-turbo vehicle.
Hopefully we get back to the day of n/a ICE...
I love the way your dash looks with your huge infotainment screen and light switches!
Additionally, I hope you insure your truck for an extra 20k! (you can do that it is an aftermarket additional coverage thing)
You could literally blind someone if they piss you off! Oh, fyi, my Ranger is bye-bye.
This is my new truck. Very happy with the deal. Got 28k for the Ranger. The Fox 2.5's seems to make this dual solid axle truck have a much better ride than expected...
I picked up a 22' Gladiator Mojave with 25k miles for 35k today. Got 28k for my 20' Ranger with 30k miles
