Nice Truck but the linkswell killed it for me I had one on a different truck that I had and was the worst thing I had ever bought worked fine for about two months and then it started to go bad could not wait to get rid of it and put the old radio back in the truck. Sold it on Ebay for a slight loss but then it became someone else's problem. Also, their customer support is the worst ever. I had to prove to them that I had purchased it from a linkswell dealer, and they then had to confirm it with the dealer before they would even talk to me about the problems. Never again!
Damn. That sucks. I've had mine for about 6 months. I haven't had a problem yet. Except for a lost volume knob. But Linkswell sent me 3 spare knobs for free.

Quite the Roush Ranger!
No shortage of upgrades there.
I’d like that power but in a very understated fashion.
I also have 285/65r18’s… they are generally a heavy tire. I aim to go to a 275/70r18 which can save you about 10 lbs per tire if shopped well (and about 1/2” taller). Should/could help acceleration & mpg’s… at least thats my plan.
Anyway enjoy your rig!
I didnt notice much if any MPG hit at 285/75/17
he got the tailgate damper but not the Rims?

All the Rangers built by Roush ('20, '21, & '22) came with the Satin Black 18" wheels. The 17" Roush wheels were never an option. I like my 18s. But if I ever did switch to 17s, I would definitely consider the Roush wheels.

TDF, I am not using this truck as a desert runner bump eater vehicle. Easy trail work at sedate speeds, with fair ground clearance.
There is not near enough travel increase to bang bumps IMO.
I have a Total Chaos/King vehicle more suited to that (cycling 11 1/2” travel all around).
I think someone has done DirtKing here. Maybe an avenue for being OTG through the bumps.
I dont think BDS gives the travel to scoot. Just my opinion on that. Gonna keep my vehicle as cherry as possible.
Sorry I cant help more… easy running here!

Maybe this? APG
I've considered the 6" BDS lift with the Fox 2.5s, but I'm not sure i want to go that high. And I worry about how it would affect on-road performance.

Yup, the roush ones that grandaccess has are geared towards the bronco.. 17x8.5 +25 offset.. i actually really want them.. the ones on the roush ranger are a 18x8.5 +40’something offset (could be totally wrong on the offset tho)

I believe BDS claims that its lifts are designed well enough that the factory stability management, traction control, and terrain modes will all function correctly… I forget all the specifics but hearing/reading that somewhere is why I think bds is the way to go.. 3.5 or 6 is just gonna depend on how tall of tires… unless you really need/want all the ground clearance

Well, personal preference certainly plays in…
I would keep the Roush truck close to theme… a go getter style truck. Doesn't mean you have to beat on it.
Want to keep some sort of value with your limited truck maybe?
What I have done on various vehicles is go ‘enhanced stock’ - just my mantra. Sleeper in its buildup.
To me a 33-34” tire is enough so as not to take too much power or fuel mileage away.
Maybe a 285/70-18 (33.7) tire? Toyo has one at 56 lbs (fairly light for a big tire).
Ditch the intrusion bars, trim your rubber air dam, and see where you are at.
I am at 0 offset with my wheels… dont want to be too narrow when you go taller for stability.
The goal is not to rub. Not always as easy as it sounds. Its a puzzle.
Just my thoughts.

I totally agree with that. I could keep my current suspension set up and simply add the Fox 2.5 shocks on all 4 corners for less than $3k. Those shocks are definitely worth the price. My truck is 95% street princess and 5% off road. Google Mars Family Off Road Park in Lin, Texas. That place is a blast to do easy trails, tight trails, small hill climbs, small mud runs, and a dirt drag strip. There's nothing extreme there. I could go almost everywhere in 2wd. My current set up is fine except for the 4 or 5 places where you can apply WOT. I just want to install better UCAs and the Fox 2.5s initially. Dial it in, and then decide if I need more travel. I would love to find a 4.5" Long Travel Lift Kit. I'm not sure if such a thing exists in the real world. The tires I had my eye on were the Toyo Open Country A/T III Tire(32" - 305/60R18) weighing in at 48 lbs.

Yes. A LOT. It got a lot louder and there was a noticeable power boost. Just don't go with the 3" mid pipe. I did and it was loud in a horrible way. I went back the next day to cut it off and weld it the stock 2½" mid pipe. Now it sounds sound in a good way. Just make sure you have the O² spacer to avoid throwing any MIL codes. I think CVFab includes the O² spacer with the units they sell now. But mine didn't come with one.
