If I have stock led fog light are the rigid ford performance lights noticeably brighter? I might be tripping but the ford performance rigid lights look yellow to me but reading another thread it seems like they are white.

To answer your question they are most likely brighter. As for white or amber? I want to say you can get either or. The advantage of the amber light is it help with sight in heavy dusty conditions and possibly snow if that is a thing for you.

I have been wondering the same, especially the cost vs. benefit over the factory LEDs.

I have seen raptors with the led fogs that look like the rigid fogs. They appear brighter but actual light output idk

I have the Baja Designs SAE fog lights in Amber. They are noticeably brighter than the stock fog lights. I have an XLT so mine were halogen and not LED to begin with. I suspect that aftermarket will always be better than stock in both light output and throw. If your fog lights are already good then I'd say spend the money on ditch lights.

+1 on the ditch lights. I have 3 sets of Aux lights and if I could only have 1 it'd be the ditch lights hands down.

Keep in mind the Rigids aren't street legal, vs your factory ones which are.

street legal? I never read the fine print, I still need to adjust my lights after the leveling kit, i do feel like an ass all the times I get flashed.

I'd suggest looking at Baja Designs. They've got three outputs available as drop in solutions for us. SAE, Squadron Sport, and Squadron Pro. Depending on which side of Johnny law you want to be on.

I've run their Squadron Pros on my FiST constantly (use them as DRLs) for almost three years without an issue. And even at a very illegal output I don't get flashed because they're aimed well.

You can buy replacement lenses to switch from amber to clear, full spot, combo, or wide. Making one set of lights configurable in up to 6 ways affordably.

I’m getting flashed because of the headlights, not worried about the fog lights so much because of their pattern. If I change the fog lights I would go with rigids because of the own look.

I have a set of these sitting in my garage. Just haven’t had the time to do it.
