Had a minor accident a couple of months ago. My right front fog light does not operate any longer, but the bulb is still good. Where does the wiring harness for the fog lights route? I know it goes across the front bumper from passenger side toward the driver side. Once it gets to the driver side where does it join into the rest of the wire loom? I suspect I may have a break in the wire, so I’m trying to find where it plugs into the rest of the harness.

The main connector for the harness is on the drivers side under the headlight if I remember correctly.

Don’t you have an exploded view/schematic of the front end?
I believe you are correct.

Here you go:

I am attaching Wiring Diagrams and DTC Fault Diagnostic

But,
You might be chasing a rabbit down a hole, when you don't need too.

Did the light ever work after accident?
Did you replace bulb?
Do you have scanner that can read body codes? such as Forscan

The BCM has a separate driver for each Fog Light, if you replaced the bulb and the BCM still has it as a (short to Grd) fault, the output driver will still be disabled and will not allow power output

You may not have a Check Eng light on, but there could still be a code stored

If a BCM Fault Clear does not work then move on to Wiring Check Troubleshooting

I am attaching info you requested, glad to help, but I would start with a test light or better yet a multimeter and check for power at the Foglamp Connector.

1. Pull connector (C162) - RF Foglamp / Turn on Fogs
2. Check Power across both pins Yellow/Orange=Power ---- Black=Grd
3. If no Power, then Check from Yellow/Orange to Body Grd,
A. If No Power then you are confirming that you have a Power Issue
b. if you get power in step 3, then you are confirming a Grd Issue

4. If step 2 and 3 fail, then move on to Connector (C145) and do same, diagnostic as above

Hope this helps

I'm not exactly sure the capabilities of Forscan as far as Bidirectional Function for Code Reading Etc. I have only used it for my Forscan Mods. I have another Professional Scanner (Autel MS-906ts) that I use for all of my automotive Troubleshooting.

This is excellent information, thank you very much. The only thing I have done so far is remove the bulb and check it with an ohm meter. No trouble lights on the dash, I have not checked it with Forscan yet, but I will this weekend. And haven’t checked for voltage just yet. Thank you again for the information.

Thank you airline tech.....Is this a factory manual your source for this info? Is there an online source to acquire this manual?

I use Alldata DYI, I like to always have a good ref manual on hand, there are links to factory manuals in the general section here on this forum as well. (Just search Factory Manuals)
I used to have access to all cars/trucks but now just limited to vehicle specific (59.99 year)
The only issue is my truck is a 22 and the only available manual (newest) is for 2020
But they are pretty much the same
