That's not even really true either. It's crazy dependent on the station. Down here in Atlanta, where gas is on the lowest end of the pricing, there are stations that are $1-1.50/gal more for premium over regular, but a lot that are only the traditional $0.20-0.40. However, with that, I'll note that down here you typically won't see a premium price on roadside signs either. Regular (sometimes both cash & credit), sometimes diesel, and sometimes ethanol free, but rarely mid or premium. You just have to figure out which stations aren't trying to rip you off.It seems like in states with the higher prices like Ca the difference between reg an premium is about half of the buck it is here. Looks like Ohio runs around the national avg on fuel costs.
For some reason an extra 50 cents doesn't get my attention but throw that extra buck on there an my hand trembles putting the card in the reader!
