what was the 10 mpg day about lol.
Lol, not quite. That was from lots of 70mph interstate miles with a big wind sail behind it.

Took a 585-mile round trip this week. Found cheap(ish) 93 octane gas, so filled her up. Primarily county 2-lane highway backroads through middle GA and the SC lowcountry, so you can go about 65-70 sometimes, then go down to 35 through little towns or when a logging truck pulls out. A little bit of city cruising for dinners. Dash said 25.6 mpg average, but I didn't believe it. Results below, but I am very pleased with how the truck felt with 93 octane with both fuel economy and gitty-up.

'22 XLT Tremor, just changed oil. 10,4XX
Hand calc: 24.8 mpg
Only mods: Soft tonneau cover, Velossatech bigmouth, MBRP Cat-back exhaust.

Premium is $5.49 here I have the Ford tune. I average 25 mpg in town.
Yikes, not sure why it has continued to go up.
I remember not to long ago it was way less then $3 per gallon.

It seems like in states with the higher prices like Ca the difference between reg an premium is about half of the buck it is here. Looks like Ohio runs around the national avg on fuel costs.

For some reason an extra 50 cents doesn't get my attention but throw that extra buck on there an my hand trembles putting the card in the reader!

That's not even really true either. It's crazy dependent on the station. Down here in Atlanta, where gas is on the lowest end of the pricing, there are stations that are $1-1.50/gal more for premium over regular, but a lot that are only the traditional $0.20-0.40. However, with that, I'll note that down here you typically won't see a premium price on roadside signs either. Regular (sometimes both cash & credit), sometimes diesel, and sometimes ethanol free, but rarely mid or premium. You just have to figure out which stations aren't trying to rip you off.
