Ah yes, the funnels, I am actually going through quotes now, I think it's going to be doable.

I cant make them, then ask additional money for one, at $179 they should come with the dipstick

So my goal is to include them and have some extra as well.

Is it possible to get either a discount or free shipping since I couldn't include the funnel on my order?

As for right now, they really don't exist except in concept and a couple of prototypes, if the large quantity price (probably 300 of them) is not reasonable enough, I will not be going forward with the funnel.

As I said "I think it's going to be doable", that is a far cry from "funnels in stock"

So asking for a discount, in lieu of something that has not happened!

Hmm, not sure I can wrap my head around that one, the value of the funnel would be under 10$ bucks.

Not to mention, you already placed the order.

When I install this dipstick I am changing the fluid also.Is Valvoline ULV ok or should I only use the Motorcraft Mercon ULV?Also where is the hot spot to buy this stuff?

Turns out my trans was 1.5 qts low. Initially the stick was bone dry at the first hot check. Eventually added 2 qts of Valvoline ULV and that was a bit too much. So out with 1/2 qt and the not-quite-hot reading is now just under 5 (5.2 or so). So I'm expecting after taking the Ranger out and getting as close to the 200F as I can get we'll be pretty close to dialled in (if not completely dialed in). EDIT (add): Just did second hot check; fully dialled in. And wow!, transmission shifting is significantly improved.

Would NEVER have (easily) known this w/o this dipstick. Wouldn't have even known with the A3C kit.

Valvoline is fine, and keep your eye on Napa....they frequently have it on sale for $6 bucks and change per quart....lot less than the Ford brand and just as good. On sale stuff requires you buy it by the case (6 quarts to a case) if they have to order it...
Bought some awhile ago for planned fluid change...bought 3 cases just to always have xtra on hand.
I just checked....running $6.49 per quart at Napa.

My add (above post 2386) was with Valvoline ULV. Napa had qts at roughly $6.50 a bottle about 2 weeks ago.

Edit: still on sale for $6.49. Took 2 days to deliver. Very pleased.

Personally, I'd stick with the Motorcraft, but the Valvoline is good stuff too. Rockauto.com is a good place to get it, unless you can find a sale locally.
