$19.95? What does that mean?
Means I couldn't give a shit less what the price is for the other stick. I want Fitz's stick.

Ranger forum or comedian support group? Sometimes it's hard to tell around this crew.

I'm gonna add my 2 cents. And yes I am already on the list with Fitz.

Fitz's price = $189. (Don't know, don't remember, don't care! Making a point.)

ST's price = $19.95

Really? Ok. Whatever.
So to clarify, all the $189 customers have had a after sale price adjustment, the whole first batch was $179 (if I missed anyone let me know, Paypal's been holding them in pending")

The next big batch is priced at $159 I'm in a better position now buying 300 vs 60 sub components to build them.

The other guy was $124 I think, then he went to $119, so I've narrowed it to a $40 gap and if I can be more efficient I may be able to tighten it up a bit more down the road.

I think my product is pretty solid, (at least I do now thanks to your feedback) I lamented over the details for months getting it here, all the different versions, positions and testing conditions with all the heat tabs to monitor heat soak, then re-pressure testing them and rechecking the calibration of the stick, it's all been fine.

I should offer the first person to reach 25K on one a free replacement, so I can inspect the one with miles on it, it shouldn't be a issue as I am using the exact same material as B&M from the same supplier.

I've said it before, I have to really thank everyone here, the input and support have been a guide for for product changes and motivation like you can't imagine (just look at the dogs with the stick, I laughed so hard I woke the wife up) you guys are great.

Msfitoy (AKA Madman)check it out dude, I kinda got it where you started this monster topic,

Remote Transmission Dip Stick Aftermarket Support?
This has been mentioned and asked for in many threads but can we have any vendor here support an alternative to the outrageously priced B&M dip stick?

Anyone? Anyone? Low hanging fruit...easy to engineer, few parts, potentially many customers...$150 or less...
And of course my favorite:
...it seems to me a simple matter of simple CAD exercise

I'm in the 150's, just barely, maybe on day I will be at $149.99

Whew what a ride it's been, I wonder how many people are sick and tired of seeing this topic on the main page, it is so big, nobody new reads it, they just PM me.

It was no simple exercise, but thank you, seriously!

Got my stick two weeks ago, finally got around to installing it. The install went smoothly. Level is at #6, how much oil to bring it up to 4.5?
Thanks

I do not know, I should, I think further back in this thread it's mentioned.

Maybe add 1/2 quart, start there, I would think it may need more than that, but that's a guess.

I just went looking, I couldn't find it, this topic is so huge:facepalm:

Be forewarned. The fluid must be HOT to get an accurate reading. As in running the truck 50-70 miles at 70mph. It reads low just putting around town. I'd add ounces at a time. My level moved quite a bit with 1/4- 1/3 of the quart.

If you start it up and drive around the neighborhood until the truck shows normal water temp, then park it and run it through the gears for 5 seconds in each, it will be a block below the target, between 5 & 6 instead of 4-5.

Good Luck!
