Mission accomplished...MBS remote transmission dip stick is a total successful installation...asides from dropping and loosing the M6 bolt, everything else went without much of hitch...I am very impressed with how MBS managed to engineer every bend to within such good tolerance without having the vehicle apart...I can appreciate the hours and hours of trial and error it took to get here...well done Mike @Fitzmotor ?

Now I REALLY can’t wait to get mine.
I plan on swapping my pan and changing the filter at the same time (well, after the dipstick is installed…that is).

Totally worth it...might want to have some M6 spare bolts around lol...the kit comes with "ONE" and as predicted, it promptly joined the 10mm sockets black hole...

Looking forward to it!!! I plan on taking pictures of each step just in case anyone needs any….but I am sure that is probably already done and not needed.
But still…why not ??‍♂

You just recently had major transmission work.

Was the fluid at the correct level?

I used the same knobs to hold down my engine cover 'cept mine are black! Great minds think alike :like:

And I'll have my Dipstick installed on Tuesday if UPS sticks to their scheduled delivery date.

I'll get at mine sometime next week if arrives on Monday as scheduled. After this weeks trip I need to clean up the camper and get it ready for winter storage. So I can get it out of my driveway. Priorities! :whew:

I installed mine this afternoon - the install is straightforward but it is tight spaces - that is the only thing I fought with. A comparison from stock stick to this stick cold showed almost the same level - Mike said it was 1/16 off when cold. After installing the stick, I'm glad to report my fluid levels were perfect - and the fluid actually looks really good - not dark at all.

This is a HIGHLY RECOMMENDED part to purchase. The attention to detail and quality of what Mike has produced amazes me, especially after getting into all those tight spaces.

Every comment about the install makes me more like the woman in the Sears commercial…open, open, open….except I’m saying…my turn, my turn, my turn…..
They say positive thinking gets positive results.

Great, I’m glad it went well, hot fluid level as per the owners manual is between 4-5 hot, idling in park.
Im glad it compared as it should?
Thanks for the compliment, I went through many different iterations to get it right.

My tranny turned to be 1/4qt low...it's all good now, thanks to the easy to use MBS dipstick! Get in line...

People at Home Depot parking lot are thinking, "look at this doofus checking his oil with the engine running lol"...

Sid, I didn't lose the bolt, I lost the nut and had to go with the C clip, looked for that damn nut for 15 minutes, no luck, found it in the driveway next day, go figure!
