I installed the remote start x a few years ago because ford pass wasn't always reliable. Just noticed the ford pass will detect that the vehicle has been remote started. It didn't do that before. I left my dogs in the car to pick up the prescription. 15 minutes goes by which is when its supposed to turn off, Ford pass automatically extended it.

So i tested it afterwards and it does detect it.

I just leave my keys in the truck with it running and not bother to lock the doors, I have 105 Lbs Personal protection K9, no one is going to take my truck ....
the pass app did come in handy once, I forgot to leave the truck running and was inside longer then I expected, but I am also in New York and never really that hot, and in the winter he can handle -10 easy ....
he fills up the front seat of my girlfriends Chevy 4x4
LOL there is a $100 bill in the glove box :)

I am a long retired subcontractor, I did public relations a little after that in GA and FEMA and an extra LEO on hand on site for events, but I cant ever imagine not having one now, the breed is just so part of me after 35 years...
My Boss was the K9 team that found Patty Hurst for the FBI :)

Beautiful dog! Seriously handsome fella. Always wanted to get one but hasn't happened yet in my various dog adventures in life.

In looking at this picture I cannot help but think of all the dog hair in that truck. Shepards (and a lab we had once) shed like sheep being sheared. I swear my lab could shed on command. Our current dog is about 1/2 terrier. Has spoiled us from a shedding, or lack of, point of view.

Just looked at the pic again. That dog is beautiful.

We call them German Shedders LOL it really is to much, they only shed twice a year for 6 months, when they blow their coat in spring its easier to just move or burn the house down!
just by look at him look at your shirt I am sure it has hair on it, its the only part of this breed that really sucks, I have just gotten use to the hair balls rolling down the hallway, and in my morning coffee, you can peel it off the couch in sheets bahahaha
as far as personality and loyalty I wouldnt want another breed in my house, Scooby is DDR East German, my last one was west German and he was 137 Lbs, the bigger then better they are just lovers with kids and other pets, I have a zoo of large pets and they all just get along two 5+ foot Pythons, a huge blue and gold macaw somehow it all just works :)

Same here, when I use start-x, the app sees it and I can add another fifteen minutes to the run time via the app. I've never tried, or looked it up, to see if the key fob and start-x will add another 15 with another set of fob presses.

LOL, I guess even my lazy butt can test that right now! =D

Update: just tried and a second set of fob clicks seems to add another 15 minutes for a remote run time of 30 minutes! pretty nifty (app now shows "shutting off in <25 minutes").
