Even if they were, dealers are not required to accept X-Plan. Most will, but they can say they won't accept them.'21 Broncos are not available under Xplan.

I'm surprised, I would have thought it's sort of a requirement for being a Ford dealer. I can see Ford not making all vehicles eligible, but if a dealer can refuse to perform the transaction that could leave an eligible partner with little opportunity to take advantage of the pricing and effectively work against the intention of the plan.Even if they were, dealers are not required to accept X-Plan. Its just like dealers are free to set whatever prices they want to charge for vehicles (see the current ridiculous markups for Broncos). MOST dealers won't have any problem accepting X-Plan - in fact I'm not sure I know of any who have refused to honor it - but at the end of the day, it is up to the dealer to decide whether they want to accept it or not.I'm surprised, I would have thought it's sort of a requirement for being a Ford dealer. When did you order your Ranger? I ordered Apr 26 and waiting. ThanksMy 2021 Ranger was also cancelled and now I have a 2022 ordered. Changed colors from Carbonized gray to Cactus gray.
7 monthsWhen did you order your Ranger? I ordered Apr 26 and waiting. Thanks
Thanks for that. I am at seven months now. Seeing comments here about order cancelled spooks me. But, it did start build in Aug in my case from Ford's site. If they were just straight with us on when they expect to deliv. They have to know how many orders, how many built waiting chips and so on. lol Foolishly I sold my 2002 to a friend in Aug when they told me it was being built and deliv several weeks later. Silly me, I believed the dealer.7 months
I ordered a 2021 the end of Oct 2020. Production for 2021 models started the second week of December 2020. My truck was built right before New Years and was at the dealer mid-January 2021.
I have had my sticker show on vehicleordertracking since Aug 9.Just as a comparison for you , my order was confirmed Aug. 11, original build date was Sept. 27
then pushed to Nov. 1 and as of today no window sticker has shown up on Fords site (which from what I've learned here usually happens a week before build date) so not seeing the sticker this week I'm guessing my order may be moved again, I plan on reaching out to my salesman next week for updates.?
Late to the show, but that is what my dealer told me when I ordered mine last month, incentives in effect at time of delivery.I thought you only got the incentives that are available at the time of delivery, not when you placed the order.
Thanks for the update and I’m sorry you had to be put through this torture. Hope all will work well for you in the future!Unfortunately, I cancelled my order got my deposit back and didn't move forward on a 2022 order. When I told my dealer I felt the price and deal should be honoured, they were going to contact Ford and get confirmation and call me back. 16 days later, I hadn't heard a word from them so I called to say I was cancelling and could I have my deposit back. The salesman said ok, let me see if you need to come to the dealership for that and I'll call you back. A couple of days later, I had to call again. Then I got a call back from the manager with good news, the price and deal will be honoured on a 2022 but by that time, I was done.
I sort of feel like I was doing all the work here and not getting any service so I didn't want to move forward with that dealer but the thing is, the other dealer that is near me was even worse. When I was shopping I called and drove over, spoke to a salesman I had met and spoken with on a couple of occasions and he was going to research some info for me and call me first thing tomorrow morning. He never called me back.
Trying to contact Ford Canada customer service was equally frustrating. I spoke with a Customer service rep about honouring the price, and they literally said I don't have any tools, info or escalation for this type of issue. They simply couldn't do anything.
If ever Ford Canada is watching these forums, in the future please don't run a "$1500 discount on factory orders" if you won't be able fulfil the orders. Please do open a communications channel of some sort for enthusiasts like the members of this forum direct to Ford for sales and for technical inquiries, the dealerships simply are not up to the task.
Sorry if I'm repeating myself on things, just thought I'd recap my experience - not trying to bash the truck or anything like that. This is just how things worked out for me.
Cheers
