Recommendation Please: Coilover Installers in SoCal

Starting with a completely stock 2020 Ford Ranger. Just bought an Eibach Stage 2 kit for it (E86-35-048-01-22). I'm in Los Angeles and although this is a relatively straight forward install I'm looking for recommendations for a shop that has experience specifically with our generation Ranger.

I've read cautions about needing to ratchet strap the steering spindle/knuckle to the upper frame mount so the inner tripod joint doesn't slip out of its internal housing inside the boot which won't be visually obvious if that happens. That's got me nervous about what other gotchas there could be.

You can do it by just removing the lower control arm bolts , no need to mess with the axle...

If you read that thread , about halfway through i hijack it and install my coil overs that way ...

If you have a 4 wheel parts local, my buddy had them do his install and alignment and they were reasonably priced.

You can take off the nut on the axle (cv shaft) and that will allow movement without damaging it. Pretty simple once you figure out that part. Rest is just basic wrenching.

Any shop in your area that works on trucks should be able to do it. It’s really not a difficult job, I did my wife’s truck and it took about 20 mins per side. I used a block of wood to rest the knuckle on.

I had my dealership do it when I took it in for an oil change. I made sure I had the snap ring set to the height I wanted first.

As someone whose never worked on anything other than VW's, I just did this and I found it was fairly simple. I removed the Calipers and loosened the axle nuts as to not put stress on the CV and replaced the axle nuts with new putting things back together. I used this video as a guide.
