I wish mine didn't even have that damn grid, makes it a pain to clean with the plugs on each end, hide it inside the glass or just run some vents to blow air on it, like the front and sides...

I use it a lot to clear off the moisture, too.Amazingly, a near vertical piece of glass doesn't seem to accumulate a lot of frost.
They sent me a $50 discount if I go back and finish scheduling. That’s a Great Price - as the glass alone is $330
Looks like you just select either when scheduling.I find the sliding window to be one of the most unused features on my truck. If I was to replace mine I'd see if there was a solid one with the defrost.
It's odd the Maverick offers it, huh.Yea would use rear window more if it was power
I 'googled' the part number and got a range of results. Depending on where you are ordering it from I'd confirm with the vendor. Can somebody verify this part number is the solid rear window, with heat, tinted? I am getting mixed results if this is heated or not.

I've never used mine in 5 years with either of my Rangers. Even in my F150's I can recall using it one time. I had to pick up a batch of crown moulding for the carpenter at my house and opened it to slide it it up to the dash so it wasn't hanging out the bed 6'.I find the sliding window to be one of the most unused features on my truck. Well, the work order states stationary, solar, heated. I will meet the tech upon install and make sure it matches what I currently have before install.I 'googled' the part number and got a range of results. Depending on where you are ordering it from I'd confirm with the vendor.
Just had the rear window replaced. Only took the tech about 35 minutes. Looks great. Safelite is top notch, the whole process was easy. Total cost was $454.64 with tax, recycling fee (which they don't tell you up front) and $50 discount.Well I just noticed I have no rear defrost at all. The tab has come disconnected, along with the previous multiple compromised horizontal segments. Considering replacing the whole damn window. Quote from Safelite for self-pay is $446. Doesn't seem terrible.
You should've told him "I use so much Graphene on my windshield I never need to use the wipers!"Just had the rear window replaced. Only took the tech about 35 minutes. Looks great. The only thing that annoyed me was they kept trying to upsell me on rain treatment and new wipers. Why would I need that for a rear window?
?Seriously though, it's good for glass? You should've told him "I use so much Graphene on my windshield I never need to use the wipers!"?
