Noticed there's an air inlet that sort of helps feed the stock intake scoop. There's foam that I assume is too help get the air between the hood and radiator cover over towards the scoop. I decided to make a scoop and add more foam to help get more air to the stock scoop while moving.

Got a set of Accel coil packs for a pretty good price. Swapped them out and the little miss/stumble is gone at idle and low rpm. I'll see how it performs on the drive to work tomorrow.

Can't say I noticed anything for regular driving but the cold/low rpm stumble/miss is definitely gone with the Accel coil packs. Worth the $120. resistance measured at 32 compared to 33 stock.

Next project adding one touch to the other windows. Passenger front at the minimum.

I figured it was a stumble or miss due to 1. Bad gas, 2. incorrect plug gap, or 3. Weak spark. Sounds like you corrected it with 120$ of your own money when that should be coming from Ford really.

Zero reason to complain about the oil change. Even if I wasn't doing it on my lift it's still easy. The skid plate and flap is a complete non issue. Only thing of note is where to put the pan when you remove the filter. It's further back with the little drain flap. 15mm for the skid plate bolts and the drain plug.

Keeping in mind that if doing this on the lift, you will be able to get both hands into the wheel well (or if you have really long arms). I am 5'9" and have regular length arms, and I could only get one hand on the filter at a time while changing on the ground at full right lock. It took me a long time of putting excessive amounts of one handed torque on the filter for it to start spinning. If you can manage to hit just the gasket mating surface with penetrating oil and leave the filter dry, it would probably spin off with one hand no problem.

Of course if they lubed your oil filter gasket and put it on hand tight it will probably come off without issue as well.

Doesn't matter to me. How much time do you have to have Ford track that down for you? If the coil packs are stronger and fixed it for me I'm fine with that. I'll see over time if it helps with mileage.

Short arms, long arms. I used the oil filter removal tool with an extension. Either way on a lift or jack stands or on the ground. There's a solution. I'll give it one try and if it's too tight out comes the tool. Mine is a 4x4. I can just slide under with a creeper for the rest.

In 100K miles of Focus ST and 5400 miles of Ranger I have not yet needed the tool for that size filter. However, I do have one that fits the FL500S and a larger filter I had on my Jeep. I'll probably get one of those twisty ones that tightens around the filter as you twist it. I'll have to wait and see how it comes off now that I properly lubed it and hand tightened it only.

For less than $20 I have a complete set from Harbor Freight. Over a decade of use with no issues.

I'm interested in a few more details on how you did the passenger window mod. What module did you use? Part numbers?? FYI, love the pics of the install. It will be very helpful.

It's the one that comes on the 94-98 Mustang, 88-96 (?) Explorer and 2g Taurus/Sable. I have just discovered a complete module that makes all 3 into auto. I'm getting one to test. It'll be a cleaner single unit versus 6 modules to convert the 3 windows. It can auto open and close with the factory remote as well.

Careful you use the right door module you will get folding mirror and tilt mirror options. Wouldn't that be great.

I don't think I've seen anyone that's done reverse tilt with these. No actual door module to program.
