Ranger vs Maverick

I have yet to see any pictures yet though with a Maverick with fog lights.

I don't think it is an option to even add them. The main opening has hidden tow hooks, there's a spot on the side of the tow hook for a fog light but looks like it isn't even an option to add fogs.

My old 1970 Maverick was a low budget Mustang.
The car based pickup was a Ranchero.
And now a Mustang SUV.
Go figure.

This thread has been quite the read. lol. My uncle was a farmer raising cattle and growing corn and beans in the midwest, very very hard on trucks of all sizes, his wife had a little volkswagen truck single cab and it was green, this was during the late 70's and I tell you what, that little thing would out work ANY 1/2 ton truck today, I never saw a truck/car/thing get beaten so hard and last so long, change the oil that's it. So car/truck/suv its a name not a pronoun.

Correct, no foggers. Plus side is that led low beams are standard... My biggest Ranger complaint lol.

My dealer called me today to let me know they had a Maverick in stock that I could drive.

It's not for sale, it's just a Demo so interested folks can see it.

I'm going there around lunch tomorrow to drive it and I'll post my impressions afterward.

My old 1999 F-450 CC PS 6 speed manual 4X4 with a geared rear locker was a truck. The Ranger is a pickup truck. The Maverick is a car with a pickup bed,. A pickup car?

Honda Ridgeline
Hyundai Santa Cruz
Subaru Baja & Brat
VW Rabbit Pickup

Those late-70's VW pickups were amazing! 45 mpg & otherwise pretty much a two seater Rabbit.
